Your local great guide and the driver will meet you at the cruise port terminal. On the way, spend few mins to discuss your tailor-made tour. First visit French Concession, once the center of colonial life, now the hottest and hippest neighborhood in Shanghai. Make a stop at Fuxing Park, where the French-style gardens pay homage to the park’s colonial beginnings, in the morning, the park offers a fantastic introduction to traditional Shanghai life as locals gather here to enjoy activities such as calligraphy, singing, ballroom dancing. Feel free to join in a dance if you wish!
People's Square (Renmin Guang Chang)
Next head to People’s Square, known as the heart of Shanghai. Besides being a great place to observe locals going about their daily life, the square is home to the famous Marriage Market during weekends, when local parents come to find a boyfriend or girlfriend for their single children. If it's raining, you may wish to enjoy the alternative of either a visit to the world-class Shanghai Museum, with its fantastic selection of historic artefacts or the fascinating Shanghai Urban Planning Museum.

5.00It was a wonderful day with the super guide Sarah. The day was very well planned and the stories Sarah told us was very interesting. We learned a lot about this beautiful city Shanghai, visited very beautiful temples and gardens. Old town was simply unique. But not only... There were tens of us and had our own bus which drove us everywhere. lunch at lunch was very good, We were even able to redefine the departure back to the ship (with a small extra charge) stayed until the evening we can recommend the excursion to anyone who stays in Shanghai for only a few days. It was beautiful. Sarah, thank you. Georg with friends .

5.00We had an amazing time in Shanghai with our city tour. Our pick up was from the Cruise Ship Terminal and our private guide Sarah was great along with driver Mr. Wong. The vehicle was very comfortable and we were taken to the places that we wanted to see and Sarah was excellent in showing us around and providing us lots of information of the local area and we tried lots of the local cuisine as well. We very much enjoyed Sunny Tours Shanghai and highly recommend them.

5.00I had used Sunny Tours in June for a private tour to Suzhou to visit the University where my Great Grandfather had taught and was most impressed with the service and guide, FeiFei, that I booked another private customized tour of Shanghai to visit old family houses,schools and other old Shanghai sites but the addresses I had were old French names and Sunny Tours was most instrumental in helping locate the modern names of streets. Sunny was our guide this time and she was absolutely delightful with her personality, sense of humor, knowledge of sites and history, and persistence in locating the addresses. She was delightful to spend the day with and I would highly recommend her and her company!

5.00Sunny provided an excellent private tour of Shanghai for us and maintained a ‘sunny’ disposition despite the persistent rain that lasted almost the entire day and her English both spoken and written is impeccable. However the tour was just the icing on the cake. Sunny was brilliant in helping to plan our entire short visit to Shanghai from the itinerary for the tour, to booking a restaurant for evening dinner as well as an Acrobat Show. Sunny also sorted out all the transfers for us from the airport, for the show and finally to the cruise terminal; she could not have been more helpful.

5.00This tour started off badly because our guide was 45 minutes late. The guide plus driver could not get into the cruise terminal. They had not anticipated the traffic.
However the guide was spectacular and she kept the rest of the trip well planned and very informative.
