What To Expect
Guilin
Your private driver and personal guide will collect you from Guilin airport, Guilin railway station, or your hotel in Yangshuo or central Guilin, at 8:30am. From Guilin it's around two hours to Ping'an; from Yangshuo, it's a bit over an hour.
Longji Rice Terraces
Your first stop is the 'Long Hair Village', Huangluo, where the Yao women grow their hair to spectacular lengths – some as long as 6.6 feet (2 meters)! Learn about Yao lifestyles here, before you journey up to Ping'an Village, set among the dazzling rice terraces of Longji, and still home to traditional wooden houses, where Zhuang and Yao minorities tend their fields as they have for centuries. Enjoy a traditional lunch in Ping'an (own expense) before your guide leads you through the rice terraces, telling the story of how these stunning landscapes were created over many centuries as the locals carved fields out of the vertiginous slopes of Longji. Soak up the lush scenery and relaxing atmosphere as you capture timeless shots.

Dazhai village with the cable
This tour just go with Dazhai village & Round way cable only, don't go to Ping'an village. The cable car tickets included the package tour.
Dazhai village cable car: Offers the best way to have a bird’s eye view of the breathtaking rice terraces.It takes 18 minutes to finish the whole trip.
Village & Cable car: After the Long hair village, you will heading to Dazhai village by car and then visit the terraces by round way cable car.

Ping'an Zhuang Terraces: Pingan Rice Terraces across Pingan village and has a two scenic spots:Seven Stars with the Moon &Nine Dragons and Five Tigers
Duration: 2 hours
Village & Hiking : After the Long hair village, you will heading to visit Ping'an terraces by car and then hiking around 2hrs there.
Hiking at Ping'an village: Hiking at Ping'an village--The best place to admire natural landscape and folk-custom of Chinese minorities

Ping'an & Dazhai : Ping'an Zhuang village and Dazhai Yao village--They are two famous viewing site of the Longji Terraced Field Scenic Area
Duration: 3 hours: The Ping'an shuttle bus takes 15 minutes each way. The Dazhai cable car takes 20 minutes each way.
Village & Ping'an & Dazhai : After the Long hair village, you will heading to visit the Ping'an village by shuttle bus and Dazhai village by cable car.
The shuttle & cable : The shuttle & cable will be round way transfers and those transport tickets will be included in the tour package.

Shuttle bus at Ping'an village: From Ping'an village car parking to “Nine Dragons and Five Tigers” Viewing Platform, 15 minutes driving each way.
Village & Terraces & Shuttle: After visit the Long hair village, you will heading to Ping'an rice terraces and go up and down by shuttle bus for the tour.
The Shuttle bus ticket: The round way shuttle bus ticket will be included in the tour package.

Dazhai village/Terraces: Dazhai village/Terraces have a much larger area put together of terraced paddy fields with more photogenic views.
Duration: 3 hours
Village & Hiking: After the Long hair village, you will heading to visit Dazhai terraces by car and then hiking around 3hrs there.
Pickup included
Hiking from Ping'an to Zhuang
Will need 2hrs hiking, around 6km. Much shorter and easy than hiking to Dazhai village.
Old Zhuang Village: Old Zhuang Village is the most traditional Zhuang minority village in Longsheng.
Village & Hiking: After the Long hair village, you will heading to visit the Ping'an village by car then hiking to Old Zhuang village.

5.00Visiting the Longji Rice Terraces was absolutely fantastic. The views were stunning, and I truly enjoyed every moment of the trip. Peter, my tour guide and driver, was incredibly helpful, friendly, and professional throughout. He made the entire experience smooth, informative, and very comfortable. The visit to the Long Hair Village was amazing—such a beautiful and rich cultural experience. I was fascinated by the traditions and performances. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for something authentic and memorable

5.00It was a wonderful trip to Longji Rice Terraces, highly recommend it! Communication with Mr. Andy was smooth and all was well described ahead of time. Our guide, Mr. Peter, arrived on time, and we felt comfortable and well taken care of the whole time. Always ready to help us and guide us during the tour with great knowledge and explanations, Mr. Peter was very accommodating of our schedule and pace. The terraces are just gorgeous, and we are glad we visited both sites, instead of picking only one of the villages. The cable car had great views and we both enjoyed it very much.

5.00We had such a great trip, where we saw people working in the beautiful rice terraces and hiked to Zhuang. It was a fun walk and a wonderful scenery. We also learned a bit about how the minority lives. After the hike, our guide took us to long hair village, and I was surprised of how interesting it was to see and discuss the traditions of the long hair women. During the trip we asked our guide for a good place to buy tea, so after the trip he took us to an amazing tea farm. It was also a really good experience. We had such a great day full of good memories.

5.00We had a beautiful day with Andy our guide at Longji Rice Terraces! What an amazing landscape. All of the rice is already harvest at this time of the year, however, some of the terraces still have water in them and a beautiful golden color. It’s a perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature. Andy took us to a traditional bamboo rice and chicken restaurant in one of the villages, it was delicious! Then, after a nice walk Andy took us save and sound to our hotel.

5.00Colin was a great guide who led an excellent tour through the rice terraces! He was knowledgeable about the area, the foliage, and the customs and traditions. I had the opportunity to eat local specialty dishes and we took the time to stop at a tea plantation on the way back to Guilin. It was a full day and I highly recommend booking if you find your way to Guilin.

5.00We went on this trip after doing the 1-Day Guilin Tour to Reed Flute Cave, Xianggong Hill, Bamboo Boat and Night Show tour with Andy. He offered to take us to the rice terraces and we enjoyed our previous day so much that we really wanted to go. The rice terraces were beautiful, we walked for a while through them down into a village where we ate freshly made bamboo chicken and rice - what an experience! The weather let us down a bit with rain and clouds, but Andy kept our spirits up and told us to wait a little and the clouds would clear. As you'd have guessed, they did just that and we got fantastic views down into the valley. When we went, the rice was green but it would be amazing to see it in all it's colours throughout the year. Truly an unforgettable day, super good value for money, and Andy was just fantastic :)

5.00This was an amazing tour! Our private tour guide Andy was professional, knowledgeable, and lots of fun! He was also incredibly flexible and accommodating. Our schedule was constrained by our flight scheduled in the mid-afternoon. Andy happily accommodated our schedules and created a custom schedule to work around our flight. He provided transportation from our hotel to all of the destinations included on our scheduled tour. He was always happy to answer our questions, and had a detailed historical knowledge of the terraces. Over the course of the day we saw all of the major scenic spots around the rice terraces and the nearby minority villages. It was an incredible experience! I highly recommend this tour, and Andy is the perfect guide for people new to China. At the end of our trip he dropped us off at the airport, and everything was very reasonably priced. Five stars!

5.00Our trip to Longji rice terraces was so unforgettable; Dazhai and Ping'An were really beautiful. Our trip wouldn't be that enjoyable without our guide, Andy. He was so flexible with timing that I asked him to stay longer so we would be able to see the sunset at Ping'An, which he agreed to. When we arrived in Ping'An, all of a sudden everything was covered in clouds, and we decided to go back to Guilin before sunset. However, we did take some impressive photos both in Dazhai and Ping'An. I must say, the cloudy Ping'An has its own beauty. And Andy was so patient with our ever-changing requests.
