What To Expect

Return to Tirana in the evening. Drop off at the hotel or anywhere in the city.
Skopje Art Bridge
The tour will start close to the city center, next to the bridges of Vardar River. According to a mega Infrastructure Plan, Skopje 2014, the City was heavily redecorated and restored. Almost most of the history is also represented through the Statues, Memorials, and 2 extra significant bridges, “The Eye Bridge” and “The Art Bridge”. A lot of high importance buildings are also built next to the bridges making it one of the most attractive and picturesque parts of the city.

His knowledge and insights of Lake Ohrid and other points of interest made for an informative and enjoyable day. 5.00Scenic long drive Endri was a great driver A few stops to stretch your legs Skopje is best described as a city with oversized statues! You will see for yourselves A long day but worth it You could also do a day trip to Kosovo from Tirana which is also great

5.00My husband and I were the only people on the tour. We were picked up by car from our hotel and driven through the stunning mountainous scenery in Northern Albania to Skopje. Daniel was an excellent tour guide and a very competent driver. He was friendly, knowledgeable and experienced. After an interesting walking tour discovering the sights and history of Skopje, we had a lovely lunch in the Old Bazaar area of the city with good recommendations from Daniel.

5.00Last week i did this tour with Go As Local, which was my 2nd time travelling with them. This time we had tour guide Noel and he was wonderful aswell. Great communication, good talks, he was so confident in giving all the answers we were looking for. I loved the accommodation Andi had booked for us. The car was comfortable and everything went so smooth. My favourite part of the journey was Macedonia Square and the Church of the Ascension of Jesus. Can i take a moment to say organisation is the key to having a good travel agency? Like the timing was so well thought even though we were stuck in traffic for like 30 minutes but we enjoyed talking meanwhile, everything was well planned. Thank you Andi! Hoping to travel with you again soon!
