Saqqara is the biggest archeological site in Egypt and Contains over than 10000 Tombs and 16 Pyramids , you will have the chance to visit the first decorated pyramid from inside for king Unas from the fifth dynasty , during the day you will visit as well the ancient capital Memphis, and Dahshur Pyramids. The tour’s start time is flexible, but usually the tour starts around 8 AM, takes a duration of Six to 8 hours, and ends around 4 PM. What To Expect
Saqqara (Sakkara) Pyramids
First, Pick Up from Requested Location by your Tour guide to start your Journey across the three ancient necropolises. The tour will start by visiting the Saqqara necropolis, where you will visit the Pyramid of Djoser. This pyramid is the earliest colossal stone building in the world. This structure is a fundamental part of the Egyptian history as other pyramids was based on it with improvements.
Step Pyramid of Djoser
The oldest stone structure in the entire world is the step pyramid of king Djoser dates back to 2670 BC ,The pyramid is a part from huge complex (Colonnaded Entrance -Sed Festival complex- Enclosure wall , North and south Pavilions ,Southern Tomb and thousand of tombs around ) With your advanced tour guide you will know a a lot more about king Djoser, his talented architect Imhotep and the new discoveries in Saqqara. (Please note that entering the pyramid or the southern tomb needs special ticket) guide will be happy to assist.

5.00We had Ola as our guide and she was fantastic and knowledgeable. We booked this trip to see the history of building pyramids. These sights are so much more interesting and enjoyable than the Giza pyramids. You can also go into all the pyramids. We were given a choice of three types of food - we went for grilled chicken which was tasty.

5.00Lots to see. Saqqara was well worth the visit. Red Pyramid in Dahshor was an adventure to get inside. Rameses II in Memphis is a sight to see. Mahmoud gave us lots of information and made sure we had a fabulous experience. Driver very pleasant, he made our travel very comfortable.

5.00Ahmed was an amazing guide and provided a level of detail that I’m sure can’t be matched. He was more a passionate Egyptian who wanted to share his culture rather than a guide and we were lucky to have him for Saqqara as its his favourite of the sights. Be sure to ask him about the scientific and the ‘other’ side of the argument if you want to hear a different take ;)

5.00We had such an amazing time on this tour! Visiting the Necropolis of Saqqara, Dahshur, and the ancient city of Memphis was incredible, but what really made it special was our guide, Mira. She’s super knowledgeable and passionate about Egyptian history, and she explained everything in such an interesting and fun way. We learned so much and never felt rushed. The transportation was also great — clean, comfortable, and safe. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience, and we’d definitely recommend this tour (especially with Mira as your guide)!

5.00We had a wonderful day exploring Saqqara, Memphis, Darfur and Coptic Cairo and the Hanging Church with Mohamed Elshemie and our skillful driver Mahmoud. The roads and all the vehicles, animals and people on it were interesting to say the least and we felt so safe in Mahmoud’s hands. Mohammed was very knowledgeable, enthused about what we were seeing and learning, and he brought us to a delightful restaurant for a traditional Egyptian meal, which he explained in detail to us as we ate.
