The tour’s start time is flexible, but usually the tour starts around 8 AM, takes a duration of Six to 8 hours, and ends around 4 PM. What To Expect
Saqqara (Sakkara) Pyramids
First, Pick Up from Requested Location by your Tour guide to start your Journey across the three ancient necropolises. The tour will start by visiting the Saqqara necropolis, where you will visit the Pyramid of Djoser. This pyramid is the earliest colossal stone building in the world. This structure is a fundamental part of the Egyptian history as other pyramids was based on it with improvements.
Step Pyramid of Djoser
The oldest stone structure in the entire world is the step pyramid of king Djoser dates back to 2670 BC ,The pyramid is a part from huge complex (Colonnaded Entrance -Sed Festival complex- Enclosure wall , North and south Pavilions ,Southern Tomb and thousand of tombs around ) With your advanced tour guide you will know a a lot more about king Djoser, his talented architect Imhotep and the new discoveries in Saqqara. 5.00We did 2 trips with Ibrahim Allam - Saqqara, Memphis & Dahshur and pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. Both trips were excellent and tailored to what we requested: (1) Avoid crowd as much as possible. He crafted the orders/explanation based on the crowd we observed so that we could enjoy with less crowd & noise, (2) "hidden" path while giving nice viewing spots for pictures. Really well done. (3) Skip the tourist shops as we have no interest and we want to have longer time in the historical sites. (4) never rush us and always accommodate all of our questions. He really delivered beyond his clock. (5) 100% punctuality for the pick up time that was super early

5.00Today has been an incredible day, full of history, learning, and unforgettable experiences — all thanks to our amazing guide, Ibrahim. We started the day by visiting Dahshur, where we explored the Red Pyramid and the fascinating Bent Pyramid. It was truly impressive to stand before these ancient structures and imagine the engineering behind them. After Dahshur, we headed to Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt. There, we saw the colossal statue of Ramses II, as well as the second-largest known sphinx in Egypt, both absolutely stunning pieces of history. Our next stop was Saqqara, where we entered one of the oldest pyramids and admired the hieroglyphs carved into the walls. We also visited the Saqqara necropolis and stood in awe before the Step Pyramid of Djoser, which was simply spectacular. After our visits, we enjoyed a delicious lunch at a beautiful local restaurant. Later, Ibrahim kindly accompanied us to a clothing store so we could do some shopping. Throughout the whole experience, we were constantly offered cold water, fruit juices, and biscuits, which was especially appreciated during the hot August weather. The air-conditioned vehicle was also a blessing and made every transfer between sites much more comfortable. Ibrahim is not only a knowledgeable Egyptologist, but also someone who is truly passionate about Egyptian history. He shared countless insights with us throughout the day, and we genuinely learned so much. He made us feel completely at ease — like family. We even joked that he felt like a father figure to us because of how warm, friendly, and attentive he was. We wholeheartedly recommend Ibrahim to anyone visiting Egypt. If you have the chance to explore with him, take it — you won’t regret it. And of course, a big thank you to our driver as well, who got us safely and comfortably from place to place.

5.00We had an amazing day with our guide, Wael and driver, Zakrya on our trip to Saqqara. Wael has a calm and quiet demeanor about him. He has extensive knowledge on the history of the pyramids. He gave us numerous options throughout the day and didn’t pressure us into any of them. He has a deep connection to the historical monuments and displays kindness to all people. It all ended with a delicious meal. What a day!

5.00Wael & Omar were amazing! Wael was incredibly informative and accomodating for any questions we had. He showed a deep understanding for Egyptology which was awesome. He also let us know of any scams in the area which was super helpful and if you’re wanting the perfect photo he knows exactly where to take them. Omar our driver had cold water waiting for us in the car as well as the air conditioning running which was definitely a must in the summer. Would definitely recommend this tour but especially with these two :)
The sites are remarkable, even more so with a great egyptologist like Ahmed!

5.00We loved this tour! Ahmed was a superb guide, it was like being in an egyptology class with an excellent and passionate teacher! He was detailed, accurate and replied to all our questions. He always gave us enough time to enjoy the sights, so we never felt rushed. The sites we visited (especially the bent pyramid) are truly remarkable and atmospheric, and definitely better enjoyed with a guide who will be able to tell you all about why they were built and how. Ahmed also had his own (out there) theories about ancient technology, but kept it extremely professional by keeping his point of view separated by the "scientific" explanations. Also, Ahmed helped us arrange two additional tours in Luxor for the next couple of days on the spot. Finally, the lunch was delicious.
