Saqqara is the biggest archeological site in Egypt and Contains over than 10000 Tombs and 16 Pyramids , you will have the chance to visit the first decorated pyramid from inside for king Unas from the fifth dynasty , during the day you will visit as well the ancient capital Memphis, and Dahshur Pyramids. The tour’s start time is flexible, but usually the tour starts around 8 AM, takes a duration of Six to 8 hours, and ends around 4 PM. This private tour includes Pick-Up with our air-conditioned vehicles at your requested location, and Drop Off at your requested location. What To Expect
Saqqara (Sakkara) Pyramids
First, Pick Up from Requested Location by your Tour guide to start your Journey across the three ancient necropolises. The tour will start by visiting the Saqqara necropolis, where you will visit the Pyramid of Djoser. This pyramid is the earliest colossal stone building in the world. This structure is a fundamental part of the Egyptian history as other pyramids was based on it with improvements.
Step Pyramid of Djoser
The oldest stone structure in the entire world is the step pyramid of king Djoser dates back to 2670 BC ,The pyramid is a part from huge complex (Colonnaded Entrance -Sed Festival complex- Enclosure wall , North and south Pavilions ,Southern Tomb and thousand of tombs around ) With your advanced tour guide you will know a a lot more about king Djoser, his talented architect Imhotep and the new discoveries in Saqqara. (Please note that entering the pyramid or the southern tomb needs special ticket) guide will be happy to assist.

5.00We had a great trip to Saqqara. We were picked up promptly, excellent communication prior to pick up. Good driver - nice van, with air conditioning and pleasant, safe driver. Tour guide was excellent. Fantastic communicator, very friendly disposition and knowledgeable informative tour. She made the tour fun, interesting and very informative - wouldn’t hesitate to book another tour with her. She also went out of her way to offer us some extra interest points to the tour and offered flexibility of options to add to the day. Our meal was excellent, good quality and very tasty with good food choices available. All in all a great day.

5.00Impressive tour, the places visited are not crowded with tourists compared to the pyramids in Giza. Much learned about the history of pyramid building. Smooth operation and route from Cairo very moderate (compared to a trip to Alexandria). A little more time in Saqqara would have been great. In Saqqara you have to buy an extra ticket for certain additional admissions, but this is no problem.

The sites themselves are extraordinary, but what truly made the day memorable was our tour guide, Mira. From the start, Mira was warm, friendly, and extremely professional. She immediately put us at ease and set the tone for a well-paced and thoughtfully organized day. Her knowledge of ancient Egyptian history was impressive, and she explained the history in a clear, engaging way that made the sites come alive rather than feel overwhelming. At Saqqara, she provided excellent context around the Step Pyramid of Djoser and the evolution of pyramid construction, which really helped us understand why this site is so historically important. At Dahshur, Mira took the time to explain the significance of the Bent and Red Pyramids and how they represent key architectural breakthroughs. 5.00The saqqara pyramids were so much cooler than the Giza ones. Hadeer was an amazing guide and gave me time to explore on my own which I appreciated as well as took photos for me which is hard as a solo traveler.
