  An incredible trip to the lovely beach town of Essouira! A must do activity to do with the family - our driver Mohammed got us there quickly and safely and was VERY accommodating to our young boys that needed a few bathroom breaks on the way there. Once we got there our guide Rachid - did an INCREDIBLE job explaining the history of the city and answering our million questions - he is a history buff AND an INCREDIBLE photographer! If anyone is so lucky to have him as a guide - he turns your iPhone into an SLR camera and gives you amazing shots with incredible views. We will be framing the photos we took of us :)

  Everything will be allright. Our driver Mohammed was very professional, with good communication. El Aoud Youness showed us around the city, he described the history well and showed us the most interesting places. Worth recommending

  We friends have been taking one trip a year for years. Our dream was Marrakech for 2023, the earthquake came and we were considering changing the destination, in the end we weighed it and went. We went with CAMEL SAFARIES, Incredibly good, they treated us like queens, Ali was attentive to us at all times, the Riads we stayed in were great, the local guides were wonderful, the drivers were very good, the The transportation they took us to was also very good and comfortable.   Driver, Said, picked us up promptly from our hotel in the Marrakech medina. Efficient and friendly drive to Eaaaouira with rest stop along the way. Local guide, Hassan, took over at the destination. He was knowledgeable, flexible, and friendly as well. The town is an interesting contrast to the inland and desert locales. Be prepared for stops at a couple of shops but the guides nor shop personnel are pushy at all. Actually we’re enjoyable elements of the tour.

  Ali was an excellent driver and guide. He provided several interesting stops and information. He also taught us about other parts of Morocco and made us look very forward to another adventure in this amazing country. Everything was exceptional.

  I would recommend this tour for anyone who wants to learn more about Morocco and more specifically Essaouira! The day started off with our driver (Mohamed) picking us up outside our hotel at 8am. The drive to Essaouira is about 2.5 hours from marrakech however during the journey there will be a couple stops. One of the stops was at an Argon farm where they produce 100% pure argon oil along with many other products. We were event invited to try out grinding the argon seeds ourselves. Upon reaching Essaouira we met up with our local tour guide (Hassan). He grew up in this beautiful coastal city and was very knowledgable about the history of the city (I may add that his English was very good as well). He showed us around the harbour, fishing markets, old forts and the medina . While walking around we stopped off at a couple shops such as wood working shops and silver shops. There was no hidden agenda trying to get us to buy items (however I did splurge a bit of cash haha). Following the tour Hassan recommended some good restaurants and we went to one called Restaurant II Mare which was a rooftop restaurant overlooking the seafront. The fish was excellent! Lastly we met back up with our driver, Mohamed, and he took us to the beach to go camel riding. Our camel guide was a pretty good photographer as well and gave us some good instagram photos 😆 All in all it was a fantastic day full of experience. Quick side note, be prepared for a lot of walking and don’t entertain anyone unless the guides are introducing you to them! The guides are very honest people and are trying to help you avoid any scammers.

  We have travelled several times with Camel Safaris doing several routes in Morocco. The excursion to Essaouira was a very good option, see the contrast of the sea with the whiteness of the walls of the medina, the contrast of white with blue, walk the wall, the corners of the different streets, see how the fishermen arrive and eat fresh fish in the stalls of the same port. A day of relaxation, calm and tranquility and very well accompanied by the staff of Camel Safaries, showing the art of Moroccan hospitality, and always watching us. Thank you Ali for your kindness and also thank you to Hasan who was our driver. We had a great time and it's a safe bet.

  Very nice day in Essaouira. Our driver was punctual and very friendly. We arrived around 11.30am and left around 5pm which is more than enough to visit this beautiful city.

  The week I spent in Morocco with the guide Ali went unnoticed, we saw a lot, as the guide provided us with transportation, accommodation and food. The most impressive thing for me was the Sahara Desert, it was a very beautiful and unforgettable journey, I will definitely return to this beautiful land and use the services of guide Ali!
