What To Expect
Medina of Essaouira
After departing around 8 am you will be personally transported through the vast and breath-taking Moroccan landscape to ESSAOUIRA. On the journey you may see a few scattered villages and some camels, sheep and goats grazing in the countryside. The vegetation then changes to ARGAN trees that only grow in the wild and which provide berries for local goats to eat. If you wish it is possible to stop for ARGAN oil tasting in a small cooperative run by local women, where the ARGAN oil is extracted from the trees, this multipurpose oil is very famous for its uses in cooking and also in cosmetics. Nearby you can gaze at a panoramic view of ESSAOUIRA, a charming and artistic blue and white town. Once you arrive to ESSAOUIRA you can explore its peculiar wonders at your leisure. Stroll along the quays, where you can watch fishermen unloading their catch of the day and fishing boats coming back to shore, or enjoy the many good restaurants at the part and dine on fresh fish and seafood. ESSAOUIRA is a picturesque and divers town where you can explore the historic ramparts and visit the Medina full of local artists selling their crafts made of THUYA wood. The ramparts will give you an insight in to how this old seaport village was armed against the threat of invasion. Parquetry still remains a traditional specialty of ESSAOUIRA, and another beautiful attraction of the region is its tranquil beach, where you could easily spend a relaxing and peaceful afternoon

5.00We called on Morocco Private Excursion for three services during our stay: the Marrakech–Essaouira transfer, the visit to the Ourika Valley, and the return transfer to the airport. Each time, Sinomohamed was there, punctual, smiling, and very kind. Driving is smooth and safe, which is no small thing on Moroccan roads — we were travelling with two children aged 6 and 7 and elderly parents, and we never had a moment of worry. Sinomohamed naturally adapts its pace, offers stops at the right time, and knows how to be discreet when you want to enjoy the scenery or make yourself available when you want to exchange. The Ourika Valley was a real favorite — and being in a private car with someone who knows the place changes everything: no group, no rush, just a nice ride at our own pace. 5.00We used Morocco Private Excursions exclusively while in Morocco. The drivers are on time and professional. We went to Essaouira and Casablanca from Marrakech on their cars. And also to and from airports. The cars were clean and they were always on time. And they responded to our texts any time of the day and night. Best of all the prices were super reasonable! I would give them 10 stars out of 5!

We felt really cared about and also we received such a warm welcome at the cooperative we visited ! 5.00I booked this day visit to Essaouira on line prior to travelling to marrakech. Booking was easy and efficient. All my questions were answered and my requests met. The driver Idris) arrived at the door of our Riad in the Medina a few minutes early. He was immaculately dressed and the minibus was spotless and very comfortable. We then went to pick up my son and family who were staying at a resort hotel on the outskirts of Marrakech. As they were not ready, Idris waited patiently for them to appear. We then had a very comfortable drive to Essaouira with Idris answering our questions and pointing things out to us. We had a wonderful day in this fishing town and met up with Idris at 5:00 pm for the reurn. I highly recommend having a private trip with this company. We were a group of 4 adults and 2 children. It was excellent value..
