Berat Castle
Berat Castle, apart from being one of the biggest inhabited in Albania, also represents a unique combination of different styles and epochs, such as Roman, Byzantine, Albanian and Ottoman.
Holy Trinity Church
The Holy Trinity Church stands near the garrison walls, in the south of the fortress of Berat. It has got a very beautiful panoramic position. It is built on steep terrain, directly above the natural rock.

5.00We had a wonderful private tour of Berat. We were a group of 8 and had a driver (Blair) and guide (Taulant). Both were very informative, personable and professional. We visited the Berat/Kalaja Castle and City of 1000 windows. Not only did we enjoy the historic tour but Taulant also shared his personal experiences growing up in Albania and took us to a great restaurant in the castle area (Onufri Restaurant). I would highly recommend this tour. Ask for Taulant. He was fantastic.
