What To Expect
Greve in Chianti
After having met your driver at your accommodation in Florence, during the 45 minutes drive to reach Greve in Chianti, (the most famous village of the Chianti Classico countryside), he will explain all the details of your day, to be sure the schedule fits your needs. Once in Greve in Chianti, the birthplace of the famous Tuscan explorer Giovanni da Verrazzano, the Tuscan who discovered the New York Harbor, admire the Piazza Matteotti, a gently sloping square which is the hub of life in Greve; visit the many local shops and wine stores, including the famous butcher shop Falorni, or the Enoteca Le Cantine (one of the biggest wine shop in Tuscany)

After the visit of Greve in Chianti depart for a 30 minutes drive through one of the most beautiful wine road in Italy, full of rolling hills, huge vineyards and olive trees, typical of the Chianti Classico area.

5.00An awesome experience for half day visiting 2 vineyards and tasting sessions. The wines were superb and the pairings with the delicious meats and cheese were extremely nice. Our guide Matteo was a wonderful guide explaining the history of the wines in Florence as well as providing us with more information on how wines are classified and rated. Francesco took photos for us and also helped take us to each destination with a pleasant ride on the tour bus. The weather was superb and I definitely recommend to those who would like to enjoy a relaxing and refreshing day.

5.00An awesome wine tasting trip and we visited 2 vineyards. The wines were lovely as well as the extra virgin olive oil and assorted meats and cheese. Our guide Matteo was very good and briefed us about the history of wine and its association with Florence. We thank him for his hospitality as well as Francesco who helped us take lovely photos and drive us to our beautiful destinations. The rich culture and history of these wines is fascinating and these tours will provide you with a great relaxing experience

5.00This was a good tour with a stop in Siena and at 2 vineyards in Chianti. Lunch was very good and the settings were spectacular. Interesting tour as well. Thomass was an excellent driver.
