Come along for a private, personable tour of Victoria and transportation to the beautiful Butchart Gardens (40 min outside Victoria). Wander through Fisherman’s Wharf, an eclectic collection of colourful floating homes and restaurants. Admire the historic Legislative buildings and exquisite Empress Hotel at the charming inner harbour. Travel through Old Town Victoria and Canada’s oldest Chinatown. Relax on the way to the beautiful Butchart Gardens. Wander along the paths of gorgeous floral displays on your self guided tour, enjoy the amazing Sunken Garden, Rose Garden (in season), Italian and Mediterranean Gardens. Enjoy the tranquility of the Japanese Gardens. Afterwards we will drive to Mount Tolmie to soak in the outstanding panoramic views. Travel through charming neighbourhoods, stop and view the outside of Craigdarroch Castle and Government House (where the Royal family stays).

Fisherman's Wharf
Stroll along the walkway and admire the eclectic collection of floating homes and food kiosks, gift shop. Grab an ice cream cone if you like!
Mile Zero Monument
Step out for a great photo opportunity of the Mile Zero Monument indicating the start of the TransCanada Highway. This is also the location of the Terry Fox Statue where inspirational Terry Fox was to finish his run.

5.00Great tour with Linda. She was flexible on what we wanted to do, knew so much about the history, and we saw a lot of Victoria highlights. I had booked just the day before as we wanted to see Buchart Gardens, which was beautiful.

5.00Be prepared to ooh and ahh and let the gorgeousness sink in. Pictures are good but don’t give the 3D depth. We truly appreciated our driver Linda. She was gracious and kind with our 97 yo Aunt and us. Excellent guide and service.

5.00Tour picks up right at the pier, our tour guide Linda was right there on time waiting with a sign with our name on it. She asked us if we had any other specific things we wanted to see and we mentioned wanting to see the Castle, she suggested we see that first since it was in a different area than the gardens. She took us also to see the tallest totem pole and a beautiful park with Sequoia trees. Then we went to the Butchart gardens which was amazing! Linda was very knowledgeable about the town and gave us lots of info while driving us around. The van was very comfortable and had booster seats if needed for the kids.
Fantastic tour and transportation to the gardens!

5.00This was a terrific experience. We day tripped from Port Angeles on the ferry. We wanted to see butchart gardens and a number of other sights in town. We also didn’t want to worry about coordinating schedules with one of the shuttle buses. This was perfect. Linda picked us up at Fisherman’s Wharf. She drove around pointing out several interesting sites and stopping a couple of times for us to get out and see the sights. She was knowledgeable and very flexible in adjusting the itinerary for our preferences. At Butchart Gardens she said that guided tours weren’t permitted but she did accompany us in for a few pictures at the entrance and gave us her tips on how to walk through the garden to see everything. When we were done she picked us up, pointed out some more sights and then dropped us off. This was a great day and I can’t recommend her enough!

5.00We had a great time with Melanie! She was so accommodating to our special requests like grabbing a Tim Hortons coffee on the way to the gardens. She gave us a nice unexpected orientation in the gardens and also took some lovely pictures of us. We were able to completely miss all the cruise crowds and have a lovely day seeing the absolute best of Victoria!

5.00Although it was a rainy day, we had a great city tour and visit to Butchart Gardens - which were truly a highlight of our trip. Our guide Linda was very good and made sure that we took the path to see the sunken garden in all its glory and we enjoyed the other gardens as well. I'd recommend this tour - the gardens are remarkable and worth the trip. In addition the city tour and Victoria highlights were helpful as it has been quite some time since my last trip.
Great way to see the city and get to Buchart.
