And you don't need to worry if you are getting lost or not. Our professional guide takes care of you and your group. The route can be customised for your skills and needs.

This is a winter biking tour made just for you and your wishes! We customise the route using the Saariselkä cycling paths and winter bike trails. If you can ride a bike, we can find a nice route suitable for you.

What To Expect

We start the ride from our shop in the middle of the village of Saariselkä. Before the ride, we go through the safety aspects, check the equipment and how the bikes work. Good preparing is the key to successful ride.

Urho Kekkonen National Park

Riding to the gates of the Urho Kekkonen National park is quick on the public roads. Soon after the gate we head to to purpose made winter trails. Concentrate now, if you ride off the track, you'll dive deep in to the powdery snow! That's the moment of the best laughs :) Some of the trails run inside the National Park and part of the trails outside it's borders, but the beautiful nature is the same on both sides.

Our family has done some mountain biking during summer so we were excited to try out this tour. Our guide was really thorough and knowledgeable having done mountain biking herself for years. We started off in a difficult path with new and slippery snow, but after some falls and getting used to pedaling in snow it became easier. Overall a wonderful experience and would recommend Roll Outdoors anytime!

I don’t think I have experienced anything like this! We did the electric fat bike for over 6ams and it was snowing moderately. The guides (Raili and Maiya) very patiently waited for us to pick up riding and we’re helping us with everything. They were also Very friendly and enthusiastic! This was better than the whole aurora experience for us. Must do activity when in Saariselka!!

Great service, a BIG thank you! We rented full-suspension e-bikes for an afternoon in Saariselkä. The service was excellent and friendly. They offered helpful hints on where to go and showed the places on the map. They also gave good advice on how to best operate the bikes. The bikes were high-end Scott bikes. I can warmly recommend and would use again.

Detailled information from friendly staff for 3h route. We selected Moitakuru route that was easy enough for beginner and better to drive counterclockwise. Bikes 2xefat worked well. Will come back.

Feedback about good service is rarely given, usually the opposite, but now there is a reason to do so. A HUGE thank you for the excellent service both in terms of bikes and advice at your office in Saariselkä. You made it possible for myself and my wife to have a memorable experience on our vacation. Nature also shownsa us its best and luckily the mosquitoes etc. decided to be on vacation too. Thanks also to those who maintain the beatiful routes!

What a way to end our trip to Lapland with a private e-fat bike tour. There was 15cm of fresh snow overnight before our hire so the bikes were put to good use! Such great staff working there who helped with route advice and looked after our bags before we headed to the airport. Many thanks!

Me and my wife booked a private guided tour with Christa. She is a wonderful person and very friendly. She guided us through the national park in Saariselka and all the way up to the higehst point. On our way she was explaining few local things. All over, we thoroughly enjoyed the trip with her. We will definitely recommend her as guide.
