The driver will meet you at your hotel or accommodation and you can then plan your tour with your personal driver to start explore the island of Malta: Valletta: Most of Valletta is a pedestrian zone. The driver will drop you near Auberge de Castille where you can explore this UNESCO World Heritage site on foot. Visit St. John's Co-Cathedral, where you can admire the impressive Baroque architecture and Caravaggio's masterpiece, "The Beheading of Saint John the Baptist." Don't forget to explore the Upper Barrakka Gardens for panoramic views of the Grand Harbour. Marsaxlokk: Visit the picturesque fishing village of Marsaxlokk. Explore the colorful fishing boats, and if you're there on a Sunday, browse the famous fish market. We initially booked a transfer from the airport to our hotel in Valletta with this company. From the moment I booked on TripAdvisor, I was in contact with Get Cab via text messages. Our driver, George, was in contact with me from the moment we touched down and was waiting with a sign in the arrival area. I had booked a 4-hour private tour with the same company and George informed me that he would be our driver and that I could tailor the tour based on our interests and that he would be happy to make suggestions as well. The day before our excursion, I decided to add 2 more hours to the tour. No problem! George was amazing! He didn't rush us and when my husband got tired, he and George hung out in the van and chatted. George is very proud of his country and provided us with interesting information about the people, the culture, and the history. We were lucky enough to have George for the trip back to the airport. When he informed me that he would be our driver, I had no doubt that our 4:45AM pickup would be there and on time! Get Cab is an amazing company. They are reliable and efficient. They were willing to accommodate our every request.

The tour was my first in Malta. I didn't know what to expect. I was picked up at my hotel by a lady driver/guide called Cynthia. I thoroughlyenjoyed the tour. Cynthia is an excellent driver, and that also with a manual gear car. In a few minutes I was completely relaxed about her driving. In addition, she is an excellent tour guide. She knew exactly where to go, and she knew the narrative of every place that we visited. She has facts and figures at her fingertips. I have travelled all over the world. Cynthia is really in a class of her own. I recommend her to anybody visiting Malta.

We booked Getcab for our ride from Malta Airport to Valletta - as the flight from London arrived in the wee hours of the morning, we were apprehensive about the pick up. But all went well - Jes was communicative right through and Alison was there to pick us at 2am. We then booked Getcab for a 4-hour private tour (which we so easily extended to 6-hour) and Alison was so informative and passionate about Maltese culture and history and her driving skills were superb to say the least. I would highly recommend the services of Getcab.
