Masca Valley
Masca, It is located on the northwestern tip of the island in the Teno massif, within its rural park name, seventeen kilometers from the town of Buenavista del Norte ravines served as a hiding place for the pirates trying to hide their precious treasures
Garachico
Garachico, located in the north of Tenerife, which resurfaced from the eruption of the Trevejo volcano in 1706 to become a beautiful town with a peculiar charm, today it is one of the most important historical centers of the Canary Islands.

5.00We had a terrific excursion to Masca, Garachico, & Icod with Belen from Gloma Travel. Belen was very knowledgeable, friendly, and made the trip relaxing and enjoyable. Communication and confirmation ahead of time was excellent and Belen arrived right on time for our morning pickup. Belen speaks multiple languages and for us, her English was excellent. She was engaging throughout the day giving a lot of valuable local knowledge while also answering all of our questions & providing recommendations for our extended visit to Tenerife. Our main reason for booking the tour was to visit Masca, which we thoroughly enjoyed and spend about 40 minutes there (plenty of time to walk around & explore). But we really enjoyed the visits to Garachico and Icod as well, and Belen did a nice job of including some unique stops and sights along the way versus sticking solely to the main tourist locations. We felt we got a real local flavor for Tenerife and I highly recommend the tour!

5.00We had a terrific private excursion for two people with Belen. She was clear on communication ahead of time and arrived exactly as promised for our hotel pickup. She was very professional, was very conversant, and had a lot of local knowledge of Tenerife - she made the day a terrific & relaxed experience! We did not go to Los Gigantes so we could spend more time at our other spots with views that were simply amazing. Based on what we wanted to do, Belen took us to some local spots and on unique routes in order to maximize the mountain & sea views and get the full Tenerife experience. Masca especially can be a difficult driving experience, but Belen's knowledge and expertise in getting around made this a perfect trip. And Garachico was an unexpected gem for us to visit. I highly recommend Gloma Travel, it was a fantastic day!

1.00I really cannot rate the excursion because it was canceled by the guide the day before. Apparently he was sick and tried to change the date, but my vacation days are already planned out.

1.00This was the most unethical tour operator we have encountered in 40 years of traveling. Our tour was for Thursday, on Wednesday evening the operator contacted us and asked if we could go on Friday instead of Thursday as the tour guide was sick. We agreed, even though it was not very convenient for us as we had an early flight to catch on Saturday. On Thursday evening I got a notification from PayPal that Viator had refunded the money we had paid for this tour. We were shocked, we were all set to leave on the tour the next morning at 9 am. We made frantic attempts to reach the tour operator both via texts and phone calls. No luck. We reached out to Viator Support. The lady from Support tried her best to reach the tour operator but had no luck either. She tried to find alternative tour operators, but couldn’t find any. All she could do was apologize profusely. We were devastated as Masca Valley tour was the main reason for our Tenerife trip. We were still hoping against hope that the tour operator would show up Friday at 9am as promised. We were at the meeting point at 8:35 am Friday. But no luck, the tour operator did not show up. At 9:15 am we gave up. It is now 10pm on Friday night, and we still haven’t heard from the tour operator who with disgusting sliminess canceled our tour and deprived us of a much desired tour. DO NOT BOOK WITH GLOMA TRAVELS. I now even question the wisdom of booking with Viator which has really no control on the Tour Operator’s behavior and can only wring its hands in helplessness should something go wrong.

5.00We stayed in Santa Cruz and noticed most of the tours you can find online starts in the south of the island. We were lucky enough to find this tour which also does pickups in Santa Cruz. Belén was an amazing guide! Pre communication was clear and she picked us up on time in the morning. She knows a lot about the history and geography of the island. Beside she was a good driver! We had a great time with her and saw everything we wanted to see. We recommend this tour to everyone who wants a quality conversation with a guide, enjoy various scenery and learn more about the history of the island.

5.00My Husband and I traveled to Tenerife for the first time. This guided tour was amazing. We booked a hotel in the Southern part of the island which was full of tourists, hotels, restaurants and shops. This tour of the Northern part of Tenerife was like transporting us to a totally different place. Our Guide Diego was phenomenal. He picked us up at the hotel and drove us to so many places. Along the way he gave us information on the area, the rich history of the island, and was so friendly answering all the questions we had. It ended up being a private tour for just the 2 of us. We enjoyed this tour so much. We visited so many beautiful points of interest throughout the tour and also had an amazing meal at the restaurant selected. This was the single best tour we booked on our 10 day trip to Spain and the Canaries. Diego was the absolute best guide. We are so happy to have had the experience and see the beautiful Northern Tenerife. If we ever come back to the Canaries we would definitely look to stay in the Northern part of the island and would definitely book another tour with Diego.
