Spend a day through the Chianti sweet hills. A wonderful Experience between art, wine and local food to discover vineyards, towers and typical farms.

• Meet your driver escort at your Cruise Ship in Livorno and visit the tuscan countryside.

• First stop to Volterra, for sure one the most beautiful viewpoint of the region. Free visit of the town (historic centre, Etruscan acropolis and the Roman theatre).

• After Volterra we'll move to a real Tuscan farm, to understand the secrets of wine production and enjoy a lunch with home made pasta and 5 Chianti wine tastings included: (Chianti, Chianti Riserva, Sangiovese, Vernaccia)

• After lunch we will visit the magnificent Towers of San Gimignano and the pictoreque historical centre, tasting the best "gelato of the world" (Gelateria Dondoli).

San Gimignano is also known for its typical artisan shops and for the incredible panorama that surrounds it.

• The return in Livorno port is scheduled at around 17.00 pm.

Volterra

We will pick you up at Livorno Cruise Terminal for a private and exclusive tour through the gentle hills of Tuscany. Our first stop is Volterra for a self-guided visit (approx. 1.5 hours). This walled hilltop city is one of Tuscany’s most enchanting towns, built on the site of one of the Twelve Cities of the ancient Etruscan civilization. Many of its original gates still stand, and the town features a museum full of Etruscan and Roman relics. Top sights in Volterra include: • Roman Amphitheater • Medici Fortress • Town Hall • Main Square with the Cathedral and the stunning octagonal Baptistery This private and exclusive experience ensures you explore Volterra at your own pace, enjoying the history and charm of one of Tuscany’s most authentic towns.
