On the course of survival, you will get a set of skills and knowledge that every person should possess. During the training, you will acquire the ability to work with equipment, get food, water and fire. Build shelter, navigate on terrain, provide first aid. These skills and knowledge will be useful during trekking and camping, and will also increase your confidence in yourself.

What To Expect
We will pick you up from the meeting point and transport you to Vitosha Mountain. Along the way, you will learn general information about the mountain. First, we will go to a place where we will learn how to work with ropes and together we will build a zipline and a rope bridge. Then we'll go deep into the forest where you'll learn to pick a spot and build a quick shelter. After the ropes аnd shelter, we will change location and learn how to handle difficult terrains. You will also see interesting and unique landforms. In the afternoon we will climb higher in the mountain by transport and make a short trek to the higher and panoramic part of the mountain. There we will learn how to make a campfire find and filter water and how navigate. At the end of the day, we will visit a panoramic place and see Sofia from above. You will get not only basic knowledge about survival in the wild but also see and learn a lot about Vitosha mountain and visit interesting and beautiful places

5.00We had a great time in Malyovitsa. The instructor is very experienced and shared a lot of knowledge in a short period. He was very helpful and the fact that the survival training is dog-friendly is a major plus.

5.00We had an absolutely amazing weekend learning survival skills in a winter mountain setting. It was a challenge to build the igloo, but once finished, it was something to be proud of! After a chilly night in the igloo, we went on to learn how to make a fire, how to navigate using just a map and compass, and about the fauna and flora and how they can aid in survival. We also learned how to carry an injured team member out of the mountains. Highly recommended experience! Our dog Harper loved the weekend too :)

5.00Sent the baby on the last day of fall break. Daughter (9 years old) came back very pleased she liked everything: archery, searching for the right place on the map, lighting a fire together with a partner, filtering the water, tying special knots and climbing the cable, playing catch-up, and of course, frying sausages and marshmallow at the fire ))) Of the coach, she said, "fun and social." As a parent, I cared about professionalism and safety. Decided to try after a recommendation from friends and were very pleased!

5.00We picked Plamen’s basic survival course as the main activity of my friend’s bachelor trip. We were a group of 8 (men and women) and he managed to keep us busy, entertained and interested for the 2 whole days it lasted. We felt truly disconnected from our daily lives and in touch with nature in an exciting way, and made unforgettable memories when jumping from the tower, making fire, cooking by it, sleeping in a tent and eating and drinking from what the forest gave us. We discovered so many new things while Plamen also managed to keep it comfortable for us (city mice) from beginning to the end. I would warmly recommend this camp if you are looking for a unique experience in Bulgaria and in nature !

5.00My child absolutely loved the experience at the Wildlife Suvrival School! She came home with so many new skills and a newfound appreciation for the outdoors. The instructors were fantastic, knowledgeable, and patient. They made learning fun and engaging. The camp was well-organized, with plenty of exciting activities and challenges. My child can't wait to go back next year!

5.00My 9 year old daughter had an amazing week on the wilderness survival course. Every day she told me about the adventures and what she had learned with enthusiasm.She liked the most that they found crayfish and frogs, that they ate nettles, that they saw a bat, and that they climbed rocks. She shew me how to make knots, how to filter dirty water and how to make a shelter. She said that it was the best experience ever!
