Laura was an absolutely amazing tour guide. She made the experience 100 times better than it already was. She was so nice to talk to and get to know. She knew so much! She took the best pictures! I could’ve toured with her all day! We had a wonderful experience!

Francesca (aka Frankykind) was outstanding! She was incredibly knowledgeable about Ancient Rome - helped us understand a very complicated history and shared such interesting and amusing stories and insights with us. She masterfully guided us through many different sites - ensuring we saw as much as we possibly could and making the experience one that we will never forget. You would think that a 7.5 hr tour in 38 degrees Celsius heat would be painful or move slowly - but the time flew by. Francesca was so warm and caring - she was like family at the end of the tour. A fantastic experience by an amazing guide!

Luca was absolutely tremendous as our guide. He took the time to really get to know us and our interests. He tailored the entire tour to the questions and interests of our group. In particular he connected with my sister who studied archaeology in her undergraduate studies, which made for a very memorable experience for her. Luca is a wealth of knowledge, exceptionally friendly, enthusiastic and kind. 15/10 recommend.

What a fantastic experience! Having Marco as our private tour guide was incredible. We learned so much more from a personalized tour and could not have been more happy to spend the day with him. He took great care to explain each detail of the Colosseum and special areas to our family. Marco and Liv Tours are highly recommended!

Our guide Alex (Alextheartist) was an amazing and congenial person who we were honored to have the few hours we had with him! Alex asked what our goals were and what we were interested in and tailored everything we did around that- giving us the best historical education while weaving in the more modern aspects of Rome-which are so important to understand as a tourist. I felt like if it’s possible to say, that we learned enough on this tour that if this was our only day in Rome we would be satisfied (it was not our only day luckily). I cannot stress enough how it felt that having Alex for these hours felt like my husband and I had an old friend in Rome who was taking us around and educating us in a way that felt like we had been friends for years and knew how to get everything across in a very meaningful way -without ever feeling rushed. I recommend Alex highly enough that I would seek him out personally if we happen to have the luck to be in Rome again! You will be in the best of hands and mind- and an amazing artist to boot! ;)

We all like history and a good walk after flying so we enjoyed that “Big Mama “ walked us throughout the available levels of the coliseum, around palatine hill, through ancient palaces and through the 9th century church of St Mary’s to see still bright frescoes and then finished with the forum and story of Julius Caesar’s demise. She was very knowledgeable and answered many questions and taught us so much one 4 hour tour! It was so nice to be able to hear her with our small group. Definitely worth it

Our guide, Barbara, was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I particularly enjoyed the Palatine Hill and the inclusion of the “Super” sites in the tour.
