Board a 38ft Todomar for an 8-hour private boat charter to the Pearl Islands, perfect for groups up to 16. The archipelago has more than 200 islands—most uninhabited—with white-sand beaches, turquoise waters, and tidal coves that shift throughout the day.
Departing from Flamenco Marina in Panama City, the ride takes 1.5–2.5 hours. Spend the day island hopping, snorkeling, swimming, fishing, or relaxing onboard. Stop at Contadora, Saboga, Chapera, or Bartolomé depending on group interest and tidal access.
This private tour includes drinks, music, snorkeling gear, and fishing equipment. You can fish during the crossing or near the islands. BBQ or catering is available on request. What To Expect
Pearl Islands
As a private tour, you'll decide which activities you prefer during your day onboard. While visiting the archipelago, you can do some island hopping at beautiful, white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters (inhabited or uninhabited) islands as Contadora, Mogo Mogo, Bartolomé, Chapera, and Boyarena, among others. In addition, you can do deep sea and coastal fishing either on your way to the archipelago or in the several fishing spots our captain has (all fishing gear is provided). We also offer snorkeling equipment and have some great sites for a nice, easy swim or snorkeling session. For lunch, you can pick our additional BBQ option or stop at Contadora Island to eat in a local restaurant that serves fresh seafood and international and Panamanian cuisine.

Great Day at Pearl Islands, Panama

5.00It was my 3rd GEM CHARTER trip, previously July 2023 and April 2024. This is a very well managed group… and why I returned again in March 2026. From the second I met Miguel, I could tell it was going to be great. This trip, my second to Pearl Islands, was even better than the first… and this is why! First, the area, at least an hour by boat from Panama City, is amazing. There is one island, Contadora, with homes and restaurants but the other islands are uninhabited. You don’t have to go to Fiji in the South Pacific to see those photos of beautiful and serene ocean views or to be alone with friends on an uninhabited island… I have never experienced that. Our captain, Miguel made an exceptional trip even better. There is nothing better than having someone who knows everything… and enjoys sharing his knowledge and excitement. For me, as inquisitive as I am, Miguel and I chatted a lot… he knows all about each island, each beach area on each island, and did a magnificent job getting this boat close to the beaches for an easy off and on. We also saw dolphins and whales thanks to Miguel as he is acutely aware of his surroundings… I’d request him if you had a choice… also, Boris, the mate was incredible, anticipating everything we wanted or needed… it was uncanny! This was a experience of a lifetime… there was an island with purple shells, including a narrow stretch of this island where you can see both beaches at once and yes, we walked the 1 minute to the other side… it was truly “Fiji- like”… it was “a moment”… We snorkeled at another uninhabited island… and enjoyed cocktails everywhere… You should strongly consider this trip, as it was just something you dream about.

5.00Captain Botero made us feel safe and taken care of. They are also very knowledgeable. We had the BEST day, we saw 9 whales, a gang of dolphins total and fished two fish. We went with my dad (76) and two kids and it was perfect for everyone. We fished and stopped at two islands/beaches, one of which we had lunch in and the food was fantastic (fried whole pargo fish, fish fillet and the steak for my picky eater). My son asked to write on here: “ this was the best day of my life!”. THANK YOU!

5.00Brilliant staff team, amazing day. Saw lots of whales, dolphins, fish and a turtle. Free phone rescue from the sea (muchas gracias). Brilliant lunch and hospitality. Couldn’t fault the day for friends & families.
