5.00Amazing & so exciting as a Gluten Free person to be able to do a food tour! Alex took us to some different places to try and I felt so safe having him order for us. He also talked to us about the food and what we wanted to eat. He's also very knowledgable on Gluten Free restaurants in Hanoi and made some recommendations. We also booked a private GF cooking class through him and that was amazing as well. This was done in a local house and the couple were so knowledgeable about GF food and opened their home to us. On our next trip we will be booking all actives with Alex, he is extremely honest, reliable and well educated

We went to eat in small alleys where we would otherwise never go, and delicious! Thanks to Blue we got a better picture of the people, the streets and lots of great tips!! 5.00Alex's gluten-free food tour exceeded our expectations. My wife has celiac and the accommodations were without compromise. We got to enjoy local specialties that we never would have known to try or even find. For those interested specifically about the gluten-free part, Alex is extremely knowledgeable and understands risks such as cross contamination. As a specific example, even though the bbq pork skewers do not contain any gluten in the seasoning, the banh mi sandwiches are also toasted on the same charcoal grill. Because he was so thoughtful we were able to enjoy each dish without concern. Alex also thoughtfully managed our different dietary needs. At one stop, he had my wife try her gluten-free version first, then I had mine with bread so we could both fully participate. He offered to adjust any of the dishes based on taste preferences but we did not. The tour is well paced between sizes, savory vs sweet, and light vs heavy. This tour is essential for anyone with celiac visiting the area. Alex's expertise turned what's usually a stressful dining experience into a highlight of our trip.

5.00My friend and I had a fantastic gluten free/celiac food tour with Alex! He was extremely knowledgeable about what was gluten free and took us to places which were not only safe, but also local and authentic restaurants around Hanoi. We tried some new foods that we wouldn’t have otherwise known were completely gluten free and learned some tips along the way on what to look out for when ordering in Vietnam. Easily the highlight of our trip to Hanoi and the knowledge we gained has helped us for the rest of our holiday. Thank you Alex for the amazing food and great company 😊⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

5.00We decided to do this tour on our first evening in Hanoi to find food and restaurants/cafes where we could eat safely. Alex met us at our hotel. His English is fluent and he is an exceptionally nice guy to spend an evening dining in Hanoi. We visited 6-8 food outlets and the food was all delicious. I thoroughly recommend this tour to Coeliacs and gf travellers.

5.00We took this tour on our first evening to find out what we could eat and find a few great eateries. The range of food was very good. Alex was a lovely guy and very knowledgeable about the food, coeliac, the local area, culture and history. Alex met us at our hotel in the old quarter and walked us back safely. Both my husband and teenage daughter really enjoyed this tour also. I thoroughly recommend it.

5.00We enjoyed a fun, informative and yummy street food tour with gluten free options. Alex guided us to several places that specialised in particular foods eg chicken pho, eel, spring rolls and beef noodles, sweet soup for dessert, among others. Alex was warm, friendly and chatty and we learnt more about Vietnamese life.
