We will pick you very early morning from Bialystok and drive approx 1,5 hour to Bialowieza National Park
Bialowieza Forest
Enjoy a captivating 3-hour bison safari tour by car, where you'll have the opportunity to witness bison in their natural habitat, observing their foraging habits and social interactions. This immersive experience allows you to step out of the vehicle and stroll through the forest, covering a maximum walking distance of 7 kilometers during the entire tour, providing ample opportunities to capture stunning photographs of these majestic creatures. Your encounter with the bison is subject to the season and a touch of luck. The safari route spans approximately 50-120 kilometers as your expert guide searches for wild bison. Bison Are Just the Tip of the Experience

5.00This experience, while focused on the bison, is far more of an immersion into the park and its ecosystem. The park requires a licensed guide for good reasons. Sylwia is the premier guide for this activity. I suspect others are good, as well. Due to the time of the year, we did not go to the park at 3:00AM (4:30AM at the park) to search for the Bison because they had not been seen in their normal locations for days by any of the guides. Instead we went to the reserveOur driver Kamil, was arranged by Viator to coordinate with Sylwia on the meeting location at 9:00AM. Kamil stayed at the location, so we did not have any issue with transportation either way. Sylwia provided an alternative by taking us to the preserve where they have a number of the Bison and many other native species. Sylwia walked with us through the preserve, a very nice place, with a nice center. This took about 90 minutes. We then went through transitioned to the park about 6km from Belarus and walked through the trails. Sylwia is an expert on the wildlife and the flora in the park. Recommendations: Dress for the weather in layers and shed/add them as you go. Wear comfortable shoes, it this is quite a bit of walking. As with any trek through a forest, every day is different. Enjoy the peacefulness and the experience. The European Bison are very similar to the Bison in the United States.
