From the moment we met and toured the Hospital in Beuane to the sharing of his impressive knowledge about wines and and its horticulture, we were continually thrilled with Matt's engagement, friendly spirit, and patient explanations through the wineries we visited. A side visit to a mustard store selling a local family-manufactured Dijon mustard since 1840 was added as a side attraction at the end of the day to our delight. Great memories to carry with us from a wonderful experience. Judi and Ron from California

Our tour guide Matthias was incredible. We were picked up on time at our hotel. Our schedule had been discussed ahead of time through email and all was ready for a great day. He thaught us how to read and interpret the Burgundy wine labels while explaining the winemaking process and principles of Burgundy wine. We had a great picnic lunch at a wine chateau (with more wine of course). Then he also included two unscheduled, additional stops: first, at the Fallot mustard factory (yummy) and then at a place to taste de "Marc of Burgundy" a brandy made from the pomace of the winemaking process. The negative of the tour: it had to end. :-( All in all, this was a fabulous day and I highly recommend it.

Matthias was amazing with his energy! We had just to follow him to get a very good moment in Beaune.

Our day was packed full of delicious wine and wonderful sights. The tour brought us to four very different wine houses which was nice because after awhile most cellars look the same. The sprinter van was clean and comfortable. The picnic lunch was delectable and gave us a nice taste of the region. Matthias was a knowledgeable and lively guide. His love and passion for the region shows and is infectious. He provides complete train “door to door” escorting. We were picked up immediately from the train platform and brought to our return coach at the end of our trip. This was helpful as navigating a new station can be daunting for some. I highly recommend this tour for any group of adults looking to expand their knowledge of new wines.

This was the best of all of our French wine tours. Matthias was so knowledgeable about the area and we learned so much while having a blast. He made sure we were taken care of and did an awesome job tailoring the tour to our group. The places we visited were not overly commercialized. Our trip included a tasting at 3 wineries and we added a lunch at a 4th winery. There was virtually no effort in booking this either. I highly recommend this!
