Visit Islamic center. Located within the grounds of the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, the Islamic Information Center offers visitors a deeper understanding of Islam and Omani culture. It is a welcoming space for non-Muslim guests to learn about Islamic beliefs, traditions, and daily practices in an open and respectful environment. Friendly and knowledgeable staff are available to answer questions, provide brochures, and offer guided explanations about the religion, the mosque’s architecture, and Omani heritage. Visitors can also find books, displays, and sometimes short presentations that help explain the values of tolerance, peace, and hospitality in Islam. The center is free to enter and is open during the mosque’s visiting hours (morning only, except Fridays).
