I booked a Chand Baori tour from Jaipur. Since it's about a two-hour drive each way, I thought a tour was the only way to get there, so I made a reservation. Our driver, Ali, was very friendly and spoke in easy-to-understand English, which was a great help to me as a Japanese speaker. Initially, I only planned to book the Chand Baori tour, but I also requested a full-day sightseeing drive around Jaipur the following day. He took me to all the places I wanted to see, and I think we covered everything very efficiently. I had initially planned to explore on my own, but in the end, booking a full day's tour was incredibly helpful.

We had a wonderful time with our driver/guide Ali. It was great to get above the hustle and bustle of the city and get to look over Jaipur. Ali was very friendly and took us to see the Water Palace and to his family textile workshop with very beautiful textiles and no pressure to buy. Definitely recommend!!

Ali was a fantastic guide and driver during our time in Jaipur. From the start, he made the experience feel very personal and relaxed. Instead of only visiting the typical tourist spots, he took us to several really interesting places that felt truly authentic and off the usual map. One of the highlights was visiting traditional hand block printing workshops, where we could see artisans working with incredible skill and patience. It was fascinating to watch the process and learn a bit about the craft. Ali also took us to a beautiful silver jewelry shop with handcrafted pieces that were unique and clearly made with great care. These kinds of stops made the day feel very special and gave us a glimpse into the local craftsmanship of Jaipur. Ali was friendly, professional, and very easy to talk to. He was always happy to answer questions, explain things about the city, and adjust the plan depending on what interested us most. Driving through Jaipur can be hectic, but he handled everything calmly and made the whole day smooth and enjoyable. Thanks to Ali, we were able to see a side of Jaipur that we probably would have missed otherwise. I would highly recommend him to anyone visiting the city who wants a guide that goes beyond the typical tour and shows the real character and hidden gems of Jaipur.

Two days ago we got to Jaipur, first day we were tired, of course, it's a long trip from Europe. On the second day we went to Agra to visit the Taj Mahal. An amazing experience, really, but also a 10 hours drive back and forth with a departure at 2am to catch the sunrise. Needless to say on the second evening we were also tired. Today was the third and last day here, and I was starting to think that Jaipur wasn't that exciting, but that was because of the fatigue, leading to a lack of exploration. So last night, in a moment of clarity, I did something I never normally do: booking a guided tour. I generally hate being told where to go, what to look at, etc. Well, this one time I am so happy we booked it. Khalid (our guide) and Ali (our driver), were super nice and competent, and we were able to take it all in during this last day. I can now say that Jaipur definitely has a lot to offer, I may even come back some day to spend more time at the Jantar Mantar... :)

Rehan was excellent. We went to the Amber Palace and fort above, amer Stepwell, monkey temple, and he showed me a great place for kachori and tandoori at the end of the day. He also took me to place to see elephants, though I declined the opportunity. He was knowledgeable and kind. Had a great day with him and would definitely recommend!

We spent two days with Ali, the first by car and the second by his amazing "black panther" tuk-tuk. Ali is an excellent driver and tailored our itinerary to meet our needs - we visited all the Jaipur highlights plus an elephant sanctuary and monkey temple at the special request of our 9-year old son. Ali had great recommendations for lunch as well as textile and jewelry shopping. At each stop, Ali told us what to expect, where to meet and how to avoid tourist traps. We highly recommend Ali for your next Jaipur adventure.
