Spend unforgettable time in Cairo and enjoy visiting the Great Pyramids of Giza, the ancient site of Sakkara and the ruins of the first capital of Egypt, Memphis. The Giza Plateau has more than nine pyramids, however, three of them only are the most visited, the Great Pyramid of Khufu, Pyramid of Khafre and the small Pyramid of Menkaure.
Saqqara is one of the richest archaeological sites in Cairo, as it had been the royal necropolis of the ancient Egyptian kings till the New Kingdom, tourists who are going to visit this site will have the chance to see the Step Pyramid of King Zoser, Pyramids Of King Teti and one of the tombs dates back to Old Kingdom.
Memphis is the first capital for Egypt in the ancient Egyptian history. It had been published as the sole capital for the entire Egyptian kingdom by king Narmer, who managed to unify the two people of Egypt and kill the king of the northern kingdom after one of the memorable battels between the South and North.

What To Expect
Pyramids of Giza
the marvelous Pyramids of Giza, constructed around 2500 BC as the necropolis of the kings of the forth dynasty. Also we will see the marvelous sphinx constructed with a body of a lion and the head of a human to guard the pyramids from any threats.
Saqqara (Sakkara) Pyramids
The Step Pyramid Complex in Sakkara, which is considered to be the oldest surviving stone monument in the whole world and the first proper pyramid to be constructed in ancient Egypt.

5.00We just had an amazing and historic trip in Egypt with our friends for 16 days. From the moment we arrived, to the day we left, we were looked after by GAT Tours. Upon arrival at the airport, the wonderful Mr. Osama picked us up . Mr. Osama was there for us with a smile and important information. No detail was too small, or too big for him not to look after. Cannot begin to tell you how special our dedicated drivers were. Always around the corner. Ready to pick us up within minutes of being texted. Our first day started with Mrs. Manar, with her information and smiles for the whole day. Mrs. Manor explained everything we needed to know about the Giza pyramids and Memphis. Also, a great photographer! So, very special and knowledgeable. When one travels with Gat Tours, one has a qualified Egyptologist with you at all times. Then we were very lucky to get Mr. Sayed as our tour guide for the rest of the trip. I’m sure they’re all very talented and informative, but we felt we had hit the jackpot with Mr. Sayed. We feel that what he knew, resulted in one of the most fabulous historic tours we’ve ever had. Not only do we consider Mr. Sayed a friend, we hope to be lucky enough see him on our next trip. We also want to thank Mr. Sayed for teaching my husband, with all his patience, many details of the hieroglyphics. We chose the tour that involved two days in Cairo, Nile Cruise, many excursions and temples…out of this world! We also had five days at the Red Sea at the Movenpick El Qusir at the end of our tour. Highly recommend the Movenpic Hotel at the end. Beautiful rooms over looking the ocean as well as staff and food were all excellent! Even involved a camel ride! Then it was back to Cairo for two nights to go to one of the most famous museums in the world! Only partially open, but we did get to see the mummies and many authentic statues. Thank you Gat Tours for making our 50th anniversary so special!

5.00We had a great 10-Day experience in Egypt thanks to the excellent services of Gat Tours. They were superb since we arrived, when they met us at the airport, until we leave and they assisted us until the departure gate. The Sonesta Cruise on the Nile was great, as well as all tours. We visited Cairo, Luxor, Aswan, Abu Simbel. Always timely and with attention to detail, their guides were kind and pleasant, great knowledge, and we always felt well served and safe. We highly recommend this great company. From Mr. Ahmed Omar and Mr. Osama, to the tour guides Sayed and Ashraf, every person was worthwhile meeting. The Sonesta boats were great, as well as all their staff members, Mr. Khaled and Mr. Atef, also Maitre D’, Ramses and Mahmoud. A beautiful trip, a beautiful country, and beautiful people. 5.00An absolutely first class experience in our tour of Egypt organised by the excellent Mohammed Ramadan. From start to finish every detail was taken care of. We were escorted to and from all airports and hotels. We had first class guides to explain everything and comfortable cars to visit the sites. I would highly recommend GAT tours to anyone wanting to visit Egypt.
