What To Expect
Essaouira Ramparts
We will go from Marrakech towards Essaouira it takes about 3 hours to reach the city of the wind. When we arrive at this town located on the Atlantic coast of Morocco and three hours from Marrakech, the calm of the place is even strange to us, so used to the bustle of the big Moroccan cities. Once we set foot in calm Essaouira we contemplated around us the blue porticoes of the houses, the simplicity of the bazaars and the seagulls, hundreds of seagulls that fly over the town where Orson Welles shot part of his film Othello in 1949, a sign that indicates the artistic influence of a town in which jazz and Arab music concerts regularly meet in local cafes. We will walk through its Medina, which was named a World Heritage Site in 2001. We will also visit some souks and especially visit some art galleries to show you the urban and colorful art of this fishing city.

We will go to the medina of Essaouira to learn about its history and we will enter its colorful souks. We will also know the urban art galleries of Essaouira and we will know the art of Moroccan artists

5.00An experience that remains impregnated in your memory. Essaouira, its charm is magical, in addition to its beach, its inhabitants and port. With Aladdina we went to eat local food from Essaouira, visit the best art galleries with a good Moroccan wine among other surprises. It also left us free time to enjoy the city on our own. 5.00We have spent a wonderful day with Aladdina we used only one day in the city and we decided to do it and the truth has not disappointed, we got to know the city, its culture, the port where we ate the best fish for a long time... We took photos of the streets and its alleys, and we had a lot of fun, we felt very safe and enjoyable, recommended if you have little time and want to make the most of it. 5.00We went to Essaouira by van, stopping on our way to visit an Argan cooperative to liven up the travel time. Upon arrival, we were shown the corners, shops and other points of interest of the city. At all times the tour was most enjoyable and close by the guides and we had the opportunity to buy the fresh fish and cook it in the port itself instead of just going to the restaurants for tourists. The Agency’s organization was impeccable for the elderly. More than recommended.
