First of all, we would like to thank Sun Egypt Tours and personally guide Samir for the excellent VIP tour! Airport transfer, flight, meeting, everything went great. Our guide, Samir, immediately charmed us with his warmth, friendly attitude and intelligence. And, of course, as the organizers promised us, Samir was an expert in his field - there is no question he does not know the answer to! Highly educated, erudite and intelligent. Plus a sense of tact! Never drove us anywhere, often photographed us, helped us with the purchase of souvenirs and constantly told us many and interesting stories not only about the life of ancient Egypt, but also of modern Egyptians! Samira showed us interesting places that ordinary tourists often overlook. At the Cairo Museum, we viewed the main exhibition with interest (although it was not the first time we had been to the museum) - the guide told many new and previously unknown facts, which helped us to see many exhibits in a completely new way. Also, Samir, with great excitement, along with us searched throughout the museum, a brand new exhibition that we were eager to see - a reconstruction of the tomb of the first dentist and ancient Egyptian official Hesi-Ra. It was unforgettable! Walking on the Nile in a private boat is also beyond praise! Giza Plateau, Sphinx and Pyramid Complex. Again, Samir has not failed us! Helped me with everything I could and more! The pyramids have a new way of moving around the territory - it was invented by a businessman who took all the land on a 20-year lease. By the time we arrived, the scheme had been in experimental mode for more than 20 days. The bottom line is this: tourist transportation, whether it's shared or VIP no longer pulls up to the pyramids. All vehicles are parked in the parking lot, near the pavilion from which everyone is transferred to public buses (even VIP tourists) followed by a constant, absolutely idiotic change of tourist buses every 3-5 minutes and waiting for them in the hot sun and temperature +50 - it is hell!!! The scheme is as follows: from the entrance pavilion you take a public bus exactly 3 minutes to the intermediate stop, where you are dropped off and wait for another bus that goes, for example, to the Great Pyramid. But not quite to her - stops meters for 300 - further on foot in the sand under the burning sun!!! Have you looked at the pyramid? Go back, 300 meters, to the stop. Wait for the bus. In the heat. The buses do not park as before, but leave immediately after the tourists disembark. The alternative to walking through the desert is to buy a camel ride or a horse-drawn carriage ride. Seeing the Bedouins brutally exploiting heat-weary horses, with the exorbitant weight of passengers and heat pouring green foam from their mouths, breathing wheezing, legs splintering, we flatly refused to pay for this hellish mode of transportation. In general, be prepared for the constant extortion of money from Bedouins, for almost anything. Example: you take a picture of your wife. Caught a good track in the frame. Immediately, a Bedouin appears in the shot, making it virtually impossible to take any photographs. There are two options: either pay him to leave, or don't take pictures at all. We were lucky: we managed to take some good photos while they were distracted by other tourists. And nothing can be done about this situation. Giza is the property of the Bedouins and that's how they earn their bread. Back to the buses. You've seen the Cheops Pyramid and you want to see the Chefren Pyramid or the Sphinx. It's logical to go straight to them, straight away. No way! Giza’s innovative transportation system, first takes you back (after waiting 10-15 minutes in the scorching sun) to a transfer small stop unable to accommodate more than 20 people (and usually waiting 50), where you wait another 10-15 minutes and take a bus to the Chefren pyramid. Just have to wait on the bus until it's full and then go! 5 minutes drive and voilà - you're in the pyramid of Chefren! Then it's all over again! 300 meters on foot, inspection, 300 meters back. We decided to look inside the pyramid. I've been inside a few times- wife never. There's a kiosk at the entrance to the pyramid. But! They don't sell tickets! They can be bought by qr code!!! But there is no internet!!!! Paper tickets can be bought......right! At the entrance, on the Giza plateau! Just need to get there through 2 buses and one transfer and wait 30 minutes!!! Alternative: of course buy from a Bedouin! But if you can follow them into the pyramid, that's not accurate! Once again, our guide Samir saved us! He went to get the tickets himself while we were looking around the pyramid outside! Everyone should see the pyramid inside! It's something. Climbing and descent are 500 meters at 30-45 degrees. It's hard to breathe like a sauna! But the experience is worth the challenge and will last for life! After visiting the Samir plateau, took us, guess where? Of course, to the papyrus institute, where thanks to his friendship with the shopkeeper, gave us a good discount on a very beautiful papyrus of impressive size! Yeah, I almost forgot! Our VIP tour included a good lunch with a gorgeous meat range! 5 kinds of barbecue - I recommend! Return airport and hotel transfers were quick and comfortable! Once again, we thank Sun Egypt Travel and our guide Samir personally for a magnificent, interesting, rich and immersive day in Cairo! Thank you!

Very worried about how it would go. The hotel guide frightened us in every way. But we didn't regret it. The guide met us outside the museum. He talked interestingly, spoke good Russian, waited everywhere if we wanted to stay a little longer, answered all the questions. Polite and patient. I bought the entrance tickets myself. Asked if we wanted to visit factories, etc., we asked not to stop by. One day is not enough for Cairo, of course. We left Hurghada at 1.30am, the museum had them at 9am. We had time to visit the museum, have lunch, then the pyramids and the sphinx. The pyramids rode camels to the observation deck (it was optional, but we wanted to). At 3.30 p.m., we left for the hotel. Satisfied and a little tired of the heat. We will definitely go back to Cairo!

Our guide was Samir, he led a tour of the pyramids and the museum, showed all the sights we wanted to see, took into account absolutely all our additional wishes, arranged a comfortable and safe stay for me and my daughter. Very interesting told us about Islam and traditions in addition to telling us about Egyptian antiquities. My highest recommendations!
