Your certified Willka Travel guide will meet you at the location of your choice in Aguas Calientes whether it's your hotel, the train station, or directly at the main entrance of Machu Picchu. Once your booking is confirmed, please get in touch with us to coordinate the exact meeting time and place. If you're staying overnight in Machu Picchu town, our guide will meet you the evening before your tour to go over all the final details and ensure you're fully prepared for the experience the next day.
Aguas Calientes
From Aguas Calientes, you’ll take a scenic 30-minute bus ride up the mountain to the entrance gate of Machu Picchu. Don’t forget to bring your original passport and entrance ticket both are required for entry

Joel brought the ruins to life with his stories and knowledge, pointing out details we never would’ve noticed on our own. He made sure we saw everything at the best times, avoided the biggest crowds, and kept the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. On top of that, he was super friendly, patient, and happy to answer all of our questions. If you want to truly appreciate Machu Picchu, Joel is the guide to have, wouldn’t do it again without him.

5.00I hired Willka Travel to organize the entire onshore part of our trip to Peru (Lima, Cusco and surroundings, and Machu Picchu) in July 2018. I was attended by Henrique (Brazilian) who, with great competence, programmed all the private tours in a van with a private driver, with guides in Portuguese, and with all the tickets to the attractions, including train tickets, etc. It was impeccable!
