Annandale Falls
Just a short drive from the capital, Annandale Falls are enclosed in a garden of green and a wall of rocks covered in soft ferns and other vegetation. A dip is most invigorating. Or simply revel in the beauty and sounds of the falls. Spend time in the surrounding gardens where tropical flowers and trees flourish and visit the Interpretation Centre, Bar and Restaurant.
Grand Etang Lake
The most popular areas in Grenada for hiking and trekking is undoubtedly the rainforest around the Grand Etang Forest Reserve, high up in the mountains of the island’s interior. Grand Etang’s flora includes towering mahogany and giant gommier trees as well as a multitude of ferns, tropical flowers, and other indigenous plants. The lush vegetation provides shelter for a wide variety of animals, particularly for the island’s many species of birds. The broad winged hawk, Lesser Antillean swift, Antillean euphonia, purple throated carib, Antillean crested hummingbird and the Lesser Antillean tanager (known as the soursop) are all common sights. In addition, Grand Etang is populated by plenty of frogs and lizards, as well as playing host to opossums, armadillos, mongoose, and the Mona monkey.

We had a most incredible private day tour of Grenada guided by Marcus. We got to see everything we wanted to experience on the island including Annandale waterfalls, Etang Lake, the Mona Monkeys in the rainforest, rum tasting, chocolate tasting, beer tasting, Grand Anse Beach, St George's. Marcus' knowledge is amazing. He was courteous and kind and nothing was too much trouble. We felt very safe in his hands driving around the island. He took time to explain everything to us and gave us a very interesting, insightful and enjoyable day out. One of the best guided tours we have ever experienced. Thank you.

My partner booked the tour trying to accommodate something for both of us, she wanted monkeys and I wanted rum, we both got what we wanted. Marcus picked us up from our resort at Sandals and almost immediately started to tell us about the islands history starting with the memorials to those that lost their lives during the American invasion. From there we past a few notable landmarks on our way to the local dog shelter where we were going to pick a dog for a walk. For a small donation you can take a rescue dog out with you for your tour, no other tour company do this. Once we had our puppy we proceeded onwards to more landmarks, a waterfall in the rainforest, a volcanic lake, monkeys that are happy to eat banana out of your hand and highest place you can get to with a car for a great view across the island. The dog loved it and was so tired out he was fast asleep on our journey back to the rescue shelter. During our tour we learned about the different spices on the island, the uses of Bois Bandé, the fire and sinking of a cruise ship in the 70's that you can wreck dive and met the Jab Jab man at the rum distillery. Not bad for half a day that you can extend if you want for as long as you like. They are happy to tailor your tour to how you want it or will take you an a magical mystery tour if you have no preference.

We used Tours Grenada on our recent visit to Grenada. We did the private tour with guide Neon and it was excellent! He took us to the major highlights on the island while giving us history and culture of the island. The van was comfortable and he was professional and safe while driving. Would definitely recommend this company and Neon to anyone looking to explore Grenada!

Alvin our guide was so interesting. He knew so much about the medicinal uses of the plants in the rain forest due to his family being farmers. He was willing to take us where we wanted to go; it was nice to have that freedom. We hiked to Twin Sisters waterfalls, saw the Mona monkey and learned so much about the history and culture of Grenada. What lovely people you are! Thank you Alvin.

Alvin was the best tour guide! We booked this private land tour last minute and didn’t really have any idea what we would do. Alvin took care of all of the details. Starting with a prompt pickup at our resort, and entertaining us from the moment we left until the minute we were safely returned. Alvin shared with us the rich history of Grenada, and pointed out interesting sites along our drive. We toured a chocolate company to learn how the cocoa was harvested and turned into precious chocolates, met some Mona Monkeys up close and personal, toured the crator lake, and the Grand Etang Rainforest. Alvin also pointed out many of the herbs and spices that grew naturally along the paths and explained how each was used to improve health. We had an unforgettable day topped off with a visit to a local bar the West Indies Brewery 🇬🇩

We had the most amazing experience with Marcus from Tours Grenada. He took us EVERYWHERE. We tubed down the river, saw Annandale Falls, interacted with and fed some monkeys, went to the rum factory, the chocolate factory, ate at a local lunch spot which was delicious, saw the beautiful Grand Etang lake, Grand Anse beach, and learned so much more about Grenada history. As we drove through the city he told us about everything. More important was Marcus as an absolutely beautiful human being. The sweetest, most genuine man who is passionate about many things including his faith. It was an incredible day. Highly recommend and ask for Marcus!

My husband and I did a 6 hour tour with Marcus. He picked us up promptly at 9 am. Marcus gave us history about the island and took us to all the sights that we wanted to see. We visited the waterfall, crater lake, the monkeys, a chocolate factory, rum tasting, and Grand Anse beach. He is a very safe driver, is very personable, and is a wonderful tour guide. We 100% recommend Marcus and Tours Grenada.
