5.00Frederic was a great guide for our group of 4 visiting from Australia/UK. He was very entertaining and full of interesting anecdotes about Montreal and its history. This was a “Downtown and Old Montreal Walking Tour” for 3 hours and it was certainly worthwhile. We got a real feel for Montreal as a city now (how the underground walkways work, how the current city developed) as well as the expected historical commentary. He also showed us some unexpected coffee and dining options that we would probably not come across ourselves through guidebooks/internet searches. Definitely worth booking for a Montreal trip to really understand the city and not just its older history. The city is hilly though, and the street surfaces a bit uneven, so you need to be reasonably fit and agile to do the tour.
