What To Expect
Vienna
Vienna to Hallstatt, about 3h 30min. Begin your day at 7:30 AM as we conveniently pick you up directly from your hotel. During the 3-hour scenic drive to Hallstatt, your private guide Jane will immerse you in the rich history of Austria and the Salzkammergut region. This will set the scene perfectly for the magical day that lies ahead.
Hallstatt Skywalk
Skywalk, Hallstatt, about 1 hour. Upon arrival in the picturesque village of Hallstatt, we will first ascend by funicular to the mountaintop for an exhilarating Skywalk experience. Take in the breathtaking panoramic views of Hallstatt, the lake, and the surrounding Alpine scenery from this unique vantage point. The world will seem to pause for a moment as you breathe in the fresh mountain air. After the Skywalk, we will head to a local restaurant, where you can indulge in a delicious lunch featuring the flavors of Austrian cuisine. Savor the traditional dishes as you gaze out at the stunning views that this alpine village has to offer.

5.00Well worth allocating an entire day to go. Jenny and her husband were very pleasant and knowledgeable and helpful. The salt mine was interesting and fun and the views were very good. Village is very picturesque.

5.00Very nice trip to Hallstatt. Jenny, our guide was super knowledgeable about the history of Austria which she spoke about on our drive to Hallstatt. The salt mine was something to see and experience, highly recommended. Hallstatt was picturesque. Nice to walk around leisurely and learn about the history. We would recommend this private guided tour.

5.00We had such a great time with Jenny and Vladimir. Incredible conversation our guide was very knowledgeable and customized the tour to fit our needs. We traveled with two small children and they were able to find Kids seats for them. The van was very nice and they could not have been better guides. In fact, we liked the tour with them so much we immediately booked a bonus tour with the same guides. I was blown away by how knowledgeable and friendly they were. we now have friends for life. This was absolutely hands-down, the highlight of our trip to Vienna.

5.00Jenny and her driver (Sorry that I forgot his name) were great, they make a great team. It is a long day but it is worth it, on the drive to Hallstatt Jenny provides you with information about the area and makes the drive go fast. She stays with you for the entire day and is a wealth of knowledge, you can tell she is very passionate and enjoys what she is doing. I would highly recommend this trip with Jenny

5.00We are a couple travellers, love the view from sky walk and salt mining experience. Long hours drive from Vienna to Hallstat but worthed If you have limited time and wanted to visit Hallstat, highly recommend this private tour. Jenny our tour guide was friendly and know the best spot for taking nice picture.

5.00We had a wonderful day with Jane and her driver. Jane organised a great day of touring beautiful Hallstatt. No waiting for tickets as everything was so well organised. We had a relaxing lunch and plenty of photo opportunities. It was a pleasure to spend time with such a well informed guide as so much knowledge about the area was shared with us. 5.00The trip from Vienna to Hallstatt is simply amazing - from the hosts, Jenny and Vladimir, to the whole experience. The drive was a long drive, but they were great in giving us background history. Hallstatt is just picturesque and worth the long drive from Vienna. The Salt Mine is such a great experience and Jenny was great and did the tour on our pace. Her background and historical information about the mine and Hallstatt was added really wonderful and relevant details to the experience. All up fantastic trip - great hosts (informative, friendly), great scenery and great experience. Highly recommended.

5.00Our tour guide Jane is just as charming as the town of Hallstatt. She made this trip such a wonderful experience for us. I highly recommend taking one of the tours that she guides. We so enjoyed the salt mines, walking the streets of Hallstatt and sharing a traditional meal. Such a beautiful place to visit!
