Catedral Diocesana Nossa Senhora de Guadalupe

The Nossa Senhora de Guadalupe Diocesan Cathedral is strategically located in one of the highest points in the city of Foz do Iguaçu-PR. The choice of location was with the intention of building it on the mountain which, for Christians, is the place close to God, after all, on Mount Moses received the 10 commandments (Mount Sinai) and it was in the mountains that Jesus sought the presence of the Father through your prayers (Mount of Olives and Beatitudes). The Cathedral strengthens the devotion to the patron saint of Latin America, Our Lady of Guadalupe, and in its modern construction, it has three equal doors symbolizing the equality of the three peoples who live here on the triple border. Each of them represents a people: the Brazilian, the Paraguayan and the Argentinian.
