Experience the majestic beauty of the Western Norway on this is a short 6-hour round-trip by car from Bergen. In a comfortable private minivan, with a private driver-guide, you will travel to the Hardangerfjord, the second longest fjord in Norway. On this tour, you will see 3 gorgeous fjords, stop at 2 fresh waterfalls, experience the amazingly beautiful nature of the Hardanger region. The driver-guide provides interesting commentary to the sights and general information about Norway. This tour includes a ferry ride across a fjord on your way back to Bergen. The car and the driver-guide is with you during all of the tour. The tour ends in Bergen centre.
Car on this tour is one of our Mercedes minivans. When only 1-3 people are going on this tour, we may use our Tesla Model X. All of our cars have Passenger Transport Licence.

What To Expect
Bergen
Our tour starts in the city of Bergen - the Gateway to the Fjords. The city was founded in 1070 and contains many historical and cultural landmarks. We will pass some of them on our way from the city and also on our return to Bergen.
Osteroy Municipality
Sørfjorden or the South fjord is part of the Osterfjord which is a peculiar natural phenomenon: an salt water inlet that surrounds the largest inland island in Northern Europe - Osterøy Island - enclosed by contitental land. We drive along the South fjord until we come the the crossroads in Trengereid. (Usually we do not stop here.)

5.00This private day tour from Bergen was very special and one of the highlights of our Norwegian holiday. Our guide Vlad, was very friendly, knowledgeable, flexible, kind and energetic. We saw the most beautiful Fjord scenery, short walks to (and under) waterfalls, crossed a Fjord on a car ferry and most importantly stopped for lunch at a farm house for a delicious home cooked lunch with tastings of cider and beer brewed by the owner as well farm-fresh fruit juices. All this overlooking a Fjord and its islands - just perfect. We were a group of four and the big Merc people mover was very smooth and comfortable and Vlad was a smooth and safe driver.

5.00Great experience, a very learned man, knew a lot of data, with detailed explanations. A very authentic experience, took us to eat somewhere very special with homemade and traditional food. He also brought us drinks and typical Norwegian food made in his home. A great detail!

5.00We had a wonderful day with Jana! She picked us up at the hotel, and we saw the highlights of Bergen on the way out of town. We had some lovely short hikes to the waterfalls and petroglyphs. Lunch at farm was very tasty. And of course the views of the fjords were amazing. The snacks and drinks we had on the ferry were the icing on the cake! It was a great start to our trip. Thank you so much!

5.00Jana was our guide. She was on time to pick us up, was a great driver and extremely knowledgeable about Norwegian history and culture. She answered all of our questions and was a pleasure to be around. We enjoyed the tour very much. We had lunch at a small farm and had the best carrot soup and bread (also provided gluten free bread) we’ve ever had.

5.00Absolutely perfect tour! Janna was on time, friendly, highly informative, patient with all of our questions and made sure we all saw and did the best of Bergen. The numerous fiords we saw were gorgeous. The short hike to the waterfalls were easy and beautiful. The lunch at Annalise’s farm was idyllic and very tasty. Janna’s driving was impeccable.
