On this amazing sightseeing tour from Flåm on a minivan with a private driver-guide, you will explore the natural wonders of the Norwgian Fjord landscape are (UNESCO World Heritage list) and visit Njardarheimr – a reconstructed Viking Town with real modern-day Vikings. You will first stop at Stalheim hotel to enjoy the view of the stunning Nærøydalen valley, then take a drive down the Stalheimskleiva hairpin turn road (open May–September) and walk up close to the Stalheimsfossen waterfall. In Gudvangen you can to witness the gorgeous Nærøyfjord – one of the two UNESCO World Heritage fjords, and visit the Vikings, learn about their history and culture. After Gudvangen, on to the famous Stegastein viewpoint above the Aurlandsfjord. A thrilling ride on a hairpin turn road takes you to an elevation of 640 meters / 2099 feet above sea level. The view is stunning! From Stegastein you retunr to Flåm, where the tour ends. Duration of the tour: 4-5 hours.

What To Expect
Flam Railway Museum
Starting out from port in Flåm, where you private driver-guide meets you and takes you away from the hustle and bustle of the busy cruise ship destination. Before your trip starts, the guide will you to Flåm enbankment and show / recommend places to go and things to do in Flåm. Flåmsbana Museum – dedicated to the famous Flåm railway – is one of the places you could visit after the tour. Your tour starts: First, going by car via Gudvangen to Stalheim hotel.
Stalheimsfossen
At the bottom of the Stalheimskleiva road you are accompanied by your guide on a short walking tour to one of the waterfalls – the Stalheimsfossen.

5.00Vlad was an amazing tour guide for our day. He was right on time and the tesla car very comfortable. He is very knowledgeable and able to answer any questions. His selection of music made the day go beautifully. He got us to the sights before the big crowds and even took us to a few extra places that had amazing views He let us take our time and never felt rushed I would highly recommend Vlad and his company for this tour
Flaam is an amazing and beautiful area and Vlad was even more amazing!

5.00When out cruise ship docked in Flaam it felt otherworldly. Hard to describe the complete natural beauty of the area. IMO a private tour is always the way to go especially when on a cruise ship where time is precious. Vlad was an absolute great guide in addition to being just a super nice person. We were constantly on the move that day and saw so much. I could not recommend this tour more highly! You need to book with Vlad any chance you get.

5.00Flam was one of the stops on our cruise and I decided to book the private tour with a stop at a Viking village for my husband, father, and me. It was outstanding! Vlad sent me a text the night before to confirm, and picked us up on schedule in a comfortable car. We were able to get to scenic outlooks before the crowded tour buses arrived, rode on scenic roads that tour buses don’t go (including the top of a fjord), and learned many things about the area. Since it was just us, we were able to make changes on the fly. For instance, part of the tour ended up including a “hidden”community with a schoolhouse, stables, and small houses built a few hundred years ago, as well as a stave church. Neither was on the original itinerary, and neither replaced something that was. As we were talking Vlad had the idea they might be of interest to us, so he asked if we would want to see them. When we said yes, he was able to change his route to include them. The Viking village was also very interesting. We never felt rushed, had a wonderful tour, and were back to the ship a couple hours before all guests had to be back on board.
