7:00 AM We leave the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City behind and take a 1.5-hour journey to the now-peaceful rural district of Cu Chi. 8:30 AM Upon arriving at the Ben Duoc tunnels, you will view a short documentary film that explains the tunnels’ history and the war from the Vietnamese point of view. After that, your guide will take you on a tour through the actual tunnels where you'll learn more about the living conditions and the hardships the tunnel’s residents faced, and the ingenuity utilized to maintain life in the tunnels, which included weapon workshops and booby traps. You will have an opportunity to navigate an authentic Viet Cong tunnel, visit bunkers designed as kitchens, meeting rooms, weapon areas, give your best shot at a firing range, and much more. For a snack, you can try the local specialty – cassava, a starchy root - that sustained Viet Cong fighters for years. 1:00 PM We conclude the tour by returning you to the War Remnants Museum (outside)/ your hotel at around 1:00 PM.

Fun and easy half day trip from Saigon to the war tunnels. Cu chi tunnels was great because it was not so touristy. The 1hr 30m trip in the car was great, luxurious and our guide for the entire trip, Henry was super friendly and fun. He gave us a great history lesson on the way there and always informative and fun. A definite 1/2 day trip if in the city, and you’re back in time for lunch. Many tunnels are easy to get down and If you’re brave to go down some of the challenging tunnels then make sure you prepare to get dirty and sweaty.

This was a fabulous trip. Booking and communication were super easy. Hao, my guide, was a wealth of information and added so much value to the trip. The tunnels are a spectacular site and having a guide made all of the difference. I highly recommend this outing and Innoviet.

I took the Innoviet Small Group Cu Chi tunnels tour this morning, leaving from my hotel on time. I have been to the Cu Chi tunnels two other times in previous HCMC stays, and I would have to say that this was the BEST! My guide Henry spoke perfect English, supplied a detailed history of the French and American wars, along with telling family stories, and a good background about Vietnam history and culture. One of the best things about this tour was that they visited the Ben Duoc series of tunnels, instead of the other (more CROWDED!) Cu Chi tunnels complex at Ben Dinh. There were hardly any big tour buses, it was more of a leisurely drive through the countryside to get there, and since there were fewer tourists, going into the tunnels was far more easy. I had debated on whether to visit Cu Chi again, but this tour was so different, I’m glad that I attended. Highly Recommended!

We took this tour as a family to get an understanding of the war time tunnels at a pace that suited us. The drive from our D1 hotel took around 90 minutes. Our guide was great and kept the conversation/ tour at an appropriate level for the children. This tunnel location was not busy at all, just us and a few local school groups. We also visited some old military equipment at the start, and the memorial/ temple next to the tunnel site as well. A private tour was great for our family

Our 2 days with San and Innoviet were amazing. He and his driver navigated us around the busy city of Saigon for a half day tour then the next day through the tunnels. San is very professional and he catered to our needs. I highly recommend Innoviet Tours and if you are lucky enough to get San! Willis OBrien, Richmond, Virginia USA

We did the Cu Chi tunnels + Mekong river day tour with amazing guide San and driver Mr. Han. We had a lovely time learning about vietnamise culture and history. The Cu Chi tunnels tour was great because San took us through a much less crowded entrance. We were basically the only ones there. After that we drove to Mekong river and had a boat ride, visited Ben Tre’s coconut production and small village. We also had an unforgetable lunch at a homestay with great views and food. Truly an amazing experience! Thank you so much San and Mr. Han :)

Great experience. Our guide Henry was very knowledgeable and informative - on the car ride to the tunnels, he briefed us on the history of the Vietnam war which necessitated the construction of the tunnels, then at the venue led us through and was constantly explaining. As expected, we got to experience squeezing ourselves through the tunnels and had a small meal of tapioca. At our request, the guide also kindly brought us to the nearby shooting range to try out some of the rifles.

Innoviet are a great company, hugely helpful and reliable. We are a UK family of 4 - with teenagers whose interest in history is variable at best - but our guide Hai did a fantastic job in holding everyone's interest throughout the trip! Knowledge, enthusiastic and friendly, Hai brought everything to life in an easy to understand way. And special shout out too to Trung in the office, who was so kind and helpful!! Ben Duoc is fascinating. We virtually had the place to ourselves. Some of us went into the tunnels, one or two didn't fancy it, all very easy either way. We got a real sense of the 'The American War', all in all a great trip! Highly recommended.

Our guide gave us a really good history background and explained everything. Gave us plenty of time for questions. The group was just 4 people plus guide. Pick up at the hotel, good communication via Whatsup. We are so pleased with the tour.
