Charent's Arch
The monument "Arch of Charents" was created by architect Raphael Israelyan. One day on his way to Garni he stopped at this place and, noticing that a picturesque view opens from there to the Mount Ararat, he decided to build an arch as a "temple" to Ararat. The Arch was constructed in 1957, on occasion of the 60th anniversary of the great Armenian poet Yeghishe Charents. It is said, that the poet was also fond of walking around this place. It is like a picture frame, from where a mesmerizing view opens to the Ararat valley with Masis floating in distance. The following words completing Charents' famous poem are carved on the front aperture along the arch: "There is no summit as snow-white as that of lofty Ararat; Like an inaccessible path to glory, I love my Mount Masis!" You can make here stunning pictures against the backdrop of the Arch and Mountain Ararat, only the weather should be clear.
Garni Temple
Garni temple, which towers over a triangular cape, is the unique survived example of heathen culture in Armenia. It is a blend of Greco-Roman and Armenian styles. King Trdat The First ordered building the temple in the first century AD and dedicated it to the God of Sun. After adopting Christianity in 301, the pagan temple lost its significance and the fortress of Garni became the summer residence of the kings. Nowadays the ruins of the royal palace and the bathroom with a stunning mosaic work can be found near the temple.

We went on the Garney - Stone Symphony - Gegard tour. I went a second time, wanted to show my family the beautiful places. It's all good. Booked through Hyur website, payment is all convenient and clear. Driver Aruth is probably the best driver in Armenia. Vez is smooth and slow, as I asked. I'm afraid of racers, and this ride is very comfortable. Anna told us everything she needed to, without being overwhelmed with information and emotion. That's a big plus for us). It was a measured, pleasant journey without fuss. Thank you).

We booked a private tour to Geghard Monastery and were very pleased. The monastery is wonderful, all carved into the stone and the atmosphere was made even more suggestive by the snow that fell abundantly. We especially thank our guide Mariam who provided us with a lot of interesting historical, cultural and practical information and our driver Levon who drove with a lot of skill, making us feel always safe! Highly recommended!

We recently booked a tour through Hyur Service to visit Garni Temple, Geghard Monastery, and the Symphony of Stones, and it was easily the highlight of our trip to Armenia! Our guide, Meline, was absolutely wonderful. Her knowledge of Armenian history is profound, and she shared it with such passion and storytelling flair. At the Garni Temple, she brought the ancient world to life, and at the rock-cut churches of Geghard, she helped us truly appreciate the spiritual and architectural significance of the site. She knew all the best spots for photos and made sure we didn't miss a single detail. Our driver, Levon, was the ultimate professional. We felt incredibly safe and comfortable in his clean, well-maintained vehicle. His punctuality and friendly, calm demeanor made the entire logistics of the day feel effortless. Meline’s storytelling and Levon’s smooth driving made us feel less like tourists and more like honored guests. If you are visiting Armenia, do yourself a favor and request this duo through Hyur Service—you won’t regret it!

Great tour, everything really enjoyed, even with the rainy weather. The driver was on time, at a point we chose ourselves The trip was brief, but the seats were great. There were even some unscheduled stops on the driver's recommendation that we really enjoyed, like the archway on the way to the convent. Afterwards we stopped by for lunch, also on recommendation Separately, I want to mention directly our driver, Arakel. A professional and very pleasant to talk to, although we did not bring a guide, he told us a lot about the country and the locations we went to Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful private tour to Garni and Geghard with Hyur Service. Our driver, Arakel, was excellent. Despite the snowy and rainy weather in the mountains, he drove very carefully and safely, so we could relax and enjoy the scenery. He was punctual, polite, and very patient while we visited the sites. We highly recommend him!
