Our trip with David could not have been better! We had great communication from the company before the tour, then updates from David via text and phone call. He was an excellent guide, with vast knowledge of the history, the unique features, and the wines of the Languedoc region. We enjoyed the very generous wine tasting with 4 whites, a rose and 3 reds. All were lovely, and a couple were very unique based on their sea level terroir. Our next stop was an oyster farm and restaurant. The fresh oysters were truly the best I have ever had! Briny and creamy, served on a bed of seaweed. It was served with a glass of the local Picpoul de Penet wine - the perfect complement. We finished our tour with a quick drive around Sête, stopping for photos of the amazing vistas. I highly recommend this tour company, and David specifically!

The visit was perfect from start to finish – thank you to the friendly and committed guide and experienced captain! With great charm and know-how, we were presented with the history of the Sète region as well as the different methods of breeding oysters. The behind-the-scenes glimpses of this traditional craft were particularly fascinating. The delicious tasting was the icing on the cake – it’s hard to taste fresher oysters! Thank you for this enriching and enjoyable visit – recommend without hesitation!

Despite the less than ideal weather…drizzling rain and dense fog…we had a great time on our wine and oyster tour from Sete. Our guide Gabriel was very pleasant and accommodating and had lots to tell us about the wine making process at the vineyard we visited and also the oyster farming. And the oysters were delicious!

This is a MUST if you find yourself in the Sete area. The vineyard tour with our guide, Marc, was amazing. He is a winemaker himself, so his knowledge is vast and made the tour very interesting. The second stop at the oyster farms was equally amazing and we sat down for what was the most delicious and fresh oysters we have ever eaten…and we’ve had a lot. Our guide Marc was super cool and added so must dimension to the tour.

We'd like to start by saying what a pleasure and an education it was to have Oliver as our guide. His thorough knowledge about both the art of making wine and its regional history and the skill of oyster farming was thrilling. He heightened the pallet of each sip while bringing the Mediterranean to the table in each shell. We would without hesitation recommend this memorable 3 hour tour. It was the highlight of our trip and added immensely to our enjoyment and understanding of the area. Thank you.

Marc was a great guide. His local knowledge of the wine and oyster industry was excellent. He was able to answer all our questions and provided a tour of a local winery and a restaurant that served oysters and mussels from the the lagoon. During the winery tour he covered from the grapes in the vineyard to making the wine and finally tasting white and red wines from the vineyard. He also explained the entire process of growing the oysters and mussels in the lagoon and how the winemakers and shellfish farmers have started to work together. It was a great tour!

Marc was fantastic. His first hand knowledge was insightful and he shared all sorts of cool and fun facts about the wine making process and the ethos of wine making across the region. We liked our visit to the chateau, the wine tasting and our visit to the secret location for oyster tasting and a talk through the process of farming oysters. Totally recommend it and pre communication with Carine was excellent.

The tour included a visit in oyster farm and winery of Chateau Martin de la Garrigue. In the oyster farm there were oyster tasting paired with nice and mineral Picpoul de Pinet and I learned a lot about production of those tasty molluscs. In the chateau I tasted 5 wines of good quality and bought couple of bottles of classic Languedoc wine. Our group, consisting of 9 persons from different countries was guided by Carine, who was a rich source of knowledge about oysters, wine and tourist attractions in Languedoc. I highly recommend this activity.
