You will experience a great adventure with a professional rock climbing guide, who focuses on making the activity fun, enjoyable, sustainable, and safe. She is into several adventure activities, is part of the Colombian Rock Climbing Association, and is certified in first aids in remote areas.
Rock climbing is an amazing activity that combines mental strength with body endurance, but mostly it releases the adventurer and free spirit you have. As long as you feel motivated, your body will release all the power it has and you will reach the summit and have a unique experience in the vertical. As little kids, we climb before we start walking, so it is a natural activity for human beings.

What To Expect
We will hike along the Bogota river shore, using an antique railtrain to reach the area where we will climb. You will also learn how to use some basic climbing techniques and the basic gear. If you feel more interested in rock climbing as a hobby or sport, I can teach you how to use more advanced techniques, specialized gear, and useful tips for your future activity. The basic plan lasts for 4 hours, but we can climb for 2, 6, or 8 hours or combine it with a nice hike along the river and the cliffs or other interesting activities in Suesca. We can tailor made your experience in Suesca.

5.00Climbing with Juan Camilo in Suesca was incredible! The location is absolutely beautiful, and Juan knows the area inside and out. As an advanced climber, I was looking for a real challenge and excitement. Both Juan and Suesca delivered. Juan was professional, interesting, and taught me some incredibly valuable concepts along the way. Couldn’t have asked for a better guide or a better day on the rock.
It was one of the most beautiful adventures!

5.00It was one of the most beautiful adventures I've ever had with my family. Diana made us feel safe at all times. She guided us through every step of the activity without questioning our abilities. It was our first-time rock climbing, and we felt like experts. Our dog, Maya, joined us on this adventure. Highly recommended!

5.00120 meter tall via Ferrata with great views. And 3km of rock face to climb. I was able to climb up a 25 meter rock face and it was my first time climbing outdoors. Tip: try on the gear before you hike out to the cliffs because our guide needed to go back and retrieve a different size shoes for my friend and a different size harness for me.

5.00Scheduled the trip with Diana but unfortunately she got sick. But Juan Camilo jumped in and I had a great time. He was always very calm and friendly and make you feel good. I enjoyed climbing very much and it was a great experience. Gear is save as well. After the climb, even Diana showed up, which was a pleasure as well and was nice meeting her. So I can recommend both of the two:) Thank you!

5.00I came to Suesca for a weekend Bday trip. I booked a guided half day with Juan Camilo. I had a fantastic time. I found Juan to be patient, knowledgeable, and friendly. It’s very important to fully trust your guide and so I was very observant throughout the day of Juan’s emphasis on safety and helping his clients understand the fundamentals of outdoor rock climbing. Juan always took the time to fully explain each aspect of what we were doing and answered all the questions we had. More importantly, I find it’s critical to have a good dynamic with the guide you are working with because it makes the experience better. Juan Camilo has beautiful energy that puts you at ease. Overall, it was a fantastic day and I would recommend anyone visiting Suesca to book a guiding trip with Juan Camilo if you want to experience this beautiful area to climb.

5.00We went climbing with Juan (a friend of Diana because she was sick) and had a wonderful time. He made it very fun and safe. My dad had no climbing experience but Juan explained everything very well. I do have quite some experience and for me he found some challenging route to make it a good day for us both. Definitely recommend!
