A private tour of the El Yunque Rain Forest
We will drive through the only tropical rain forest within the US. See some of the amazing views. Be amazed by the waterfalls. Do a short hike. We might even be able to swim on a river (let me know ahead of time).
This is not a regular commercial tour. I will show you different places. I will give you a lot of interesting information in a fun and informal way. You can get to "feel", "breathe," and "enjoy" the rainforest. This tour is suitable for all activity levels.

El Yunque National Forest
We will hike at El Yunque National Forest. We also visit Yokahu Tower, and La Coca Falls.
Catarata La Coca
A beautiful waterfall next to the street. We can take amazing pictures.

5.00Verónica was amazing. From easy pick-up and drop off from our resort to her knowledge about Puerto Rico, she made the would trip seamless. We explored the magic of El Yunque and she tailored the trip to what we were looking for! Our family enjoyed finding creatures, exploring the river, seeing the peaks and grabbing a delicious bite. Would highly recommend this tour! It was the perfect length and a great way to explore the beauty of the PR rainforest.

5.00Definitely recommend and would do it again Great guide and flexible experience for your group. We have a special needs teenager and Javier was understanding and supportive. He rolled with what our son could do and pushed him to a new experience. Of course, be ready for any weather (it’s a rain forest). But you’re in great hands with Javier who is supportive and knowledgeable!

5.00We had a great time hiking in El Yunque! Our guide was friendly and very knowledgeable and respectful of the environment . Javier shared interesting stories about Puerto Rico's history and culture, which made the hike even more enjoyable. The scenery was beautiful, with lush plants, stunning waterfalls, and singing tree frogs. It was a wonderful way to spend time our last day on the island. We highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting El Yunque!

5.00This Rainforest tour was perfect in everyway!! Norma was incredibly knowledgable and a joy to be with. It was the right balance of hiking and touring to enjoy. We even had a wonderful lunch in the community at the foot of the Rainforest which was outstanding!

5.00Javier was on time and asked our experience level and then took us on a wonderful trip through the rain forest.... Whey then changed gears and headed to cave section... The beauty of this was Javier talked about the history of the island, the flora of the rain forest and various other sites we passed on our trip.... Was well worth it and Javier has it together......

Enjoyable swims and family hikes

5.00Javier was great and the tour was perfect for us. We were 14 people with a wide range of ages - 4 kids (age 3,6,7,9), 6 college kids, and 4 adults (30s/40s) - so it was hard to come up with the exact itinerary for the day. Javier picked us up and dropped us off at the cruise port (which was hard to find someone to do) and took us first to the river with the rope swing. The older kids LOVED it and some adults and kids tried it too. It was too hard for the 3 and 6 year old but Javier provided life jackets, so they enjoyed just swimming in the river and watching. Next, we went to Yokahu tower and the La Coca Falls viewpoint. If we had more time, we definitely would’ve enjoyed climbing the rocks beside the waterfall. For the last stop, we debated back and forth between a hike to a view at the top of he mountain or a shorter hike to a river we could swim in. We chose the latter and did the Angelito trail - this was my personal favorite part but I’m not sure Javier would go back because he does not have cell service there in case of emergency. (Note that we did though) His prices were also super fair when I compared to other guides and when we emailed him the day before that we were coming to the port 2 hours earlier with 4 more people, he was more than happy to accommodate. Thank you Javier! We hope to meet you again one day!
