After more than two centuries as a royal palace, the Louvre is opened as a public museum in Paris by the French revolutionary government. Today, the Louvre's collection is one of the richest in the world, with artwork and artifacts representative of 11,000 years of human civilization and culture.
The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is one the world's largest mosques and a massive architectural work of art that intentionally blends different Islamic architectural schools. It features 82 domes, more than 1,000 columns, 24-carat-gold gilded chandeliers and the world's largest hand-knotted carpet.

This can in no way be called a "tour". My driver, Abeeb, was very professional and spoke very fine English. However there was no Guide. I was dropped off and had to negotiate the very strange entry to the mosque on my own. Admission to both venues was free so the $285.00 I paid was just for a chauffeur service with difficult pick up and drop procedures. I could have literally done this for the price of two Uber rides which would have been around $40.00- $45.00 total. I feel truly ripped off.

The mosque and the louvre were wonderful! We, however, expected more information from the driver about the city. He was very nice, but his English was poor and he just took us to the sites and dropped us off. We got no info about anything, except how to get into the building.
