5.00The castle is a 45 minute drive (16km) from the old part of Prague. Our guide was also our driver and used the journey as an opportunity to talk through the history of Prague and the link to Kind Charles IV's Gothic castle at Karlstejn which was the home to the the Bohemian Crown Jewels and a large collection of holy relics. It is a hugely impressive structure, accessed through a steep road and path from a car park which is out of site of the castle. The caste is one of the most famous and frequently visited locations in the Czech Republic.

5.00Great adventure with Petr. Basically guides you and gives you all background for your visit, making it seamless. Actual inside tour is a small group tour given by a castle guide, offered in English. On the way back you enjoy local stories and the countryside.
