What To Expect
Bab Boujloud
Start your journey at the famous Bab Boujloud, a striking gate adorned with green and blue ceramics. From here, visit the Mellah, the historic Jewish quarter, and the 17th-century Ibn Danan synagogue. Continue to the King’s Palace, the Merindes Tops & Borj North & South, and a local ceramic factory to see the craftsmanship that defines Fez. After experiencing these highlights, you'll be returned to your hotel or riad.
Al-Attarine Madrasa
Built in 1325 by Abu Said Uthman II, the Al-Attarine Madrasa is located near a historic souk known for perfumes and spices. The madrasa once served as a prestigious religious school for top male students, many of whom continued their studies at Kairaouine University. As part of your walking tour, you’ll have the opportunity to relax in the serene beauty of this architectural gem. Admission fees of 20 DH per person are not included in the tour.

5.00Excellent tour guide, highly recommended. He has a great knowledge on Fez (and we trust even far beyond). Very punctual in time, showed up 5 minutes earlier (that's very unique in Morocco 😉). Friendly, also supported us in all questions, helped finding good shops and supported us in the bargaining 💰. If you are planning to visit Fez, he is a perfect choice to take you around and to be your local best friend. We are not easy and very picky tourists, so you can rely on our assessment 100% :) you don't need to look further.

5.00Yassine was amazing. He was on time, very kind, and helped us in every way possible. He answered our questions, waited patiently while we shopped, and taught us about culture and history. He was not rushed and he made sure we were able to see everything. He was very knowledgeable about the area and was friends with many in the community. He helped us with communication when we were negotiating our purchases. He called a ride for us when we needed it. He guided us with which shops were best. We really cannot recommend him enough, We enjoyed spending the time sightseeing and walking with Yassine and we felt safe and comfortable the entire time. Would definitely call him again for anything needed!

5.00This is a must-have experience when you are in Fes Medina. There are a lot of streets in the medina, so if you have a guide, you do not need to worry about directions, and it is a good way to manage and enjoy your time. Mounis, who was our guide, is very experienced, being local to the neighbourhood and knowing a lot of people. He was not only a tour guide but also a friend to us during the walk. The guided tour started right on time and ended within 4 hours.

5.00Me and my friends it was 5 girls had a fantastic walking tour! He’s a genuinely great guy — friendly, knowledgeable, and really passionate about the city. He showed us so many interesting places, including the coranic school, and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand and really fun to listen to. The whole tour felt relaxed, engaging, and full of wonderful little details that we never would have discovered on our own. I truly enjoyed every moment and learned a lot. I absolutely recommend a tour!!! he made the experience unforgettable! 5 stars

5.00I had an amazing time exploring Fes with Adil as my guide. He knows the history, culture, and hidden corners of the city so well — every street had a story! He shared so many local tips and hacks that helped me experience the real Fes beyond the usual tourist spots. Adil our guide was extremely friendly, patient, and easy to talk to, which made the day very comfortable and enjoyable. He also takes incredible photos — it felt like having my own personal photographer capturing all the best moments in the medina and around the city! If you’re visiting Fes and want a guide who’s knowledgeable, passionate, and genuinely cares about making your trip memorable, Adil is the perfect choice. Highly recommended!

5.00We had an incredible time on our Fez walking tour with Yassine Mohamed. We have been on a few city walking tours including in Morocco on this trip and this was far superior. We only had 1 day in Fez and we wanted to make the most of it. Yassine delivered. Nothing was missed and nothing was rushed. He asks you about what you want to see or do and if there is anything you need before you get started. He knows all the best places to see in the old Medina and everyone knows him. He provided us with top quality recommendations for purchases and for dining. He was patient when we were taking time to make purchases. He made sure we weren’t taken advantage of. He made sure we did not feel pressured to make a purchase. We felt safe and no one bothered us in the streets. Outside of the incredible knowledge shared about each of the sites we visited, he also shared information about day to day in Fez and other parts of Morocco. My husband needed a haircut and Yassine took him to a barber that honestly gave him one of the top haircuts. My friend needed a special Moroccan kaftan for a wedding and time was limited. Unfortunately, none of the premades fit her and Yassine helped her find the fabric and seamstresses to make the dress in 4 hours! It was beautiful. Thank you Yassine for making our time in Fez so memorable. We will definitely be back and look forward to continuing to discover more of what Fez has to offer with you.

5.00Yasin, our guide in Fes, enhanced our entire trip to Morocco. Although he is very knowledgeable about the city where he was born and lives with his family, he also gave us a great deal of helpful info about the other Moroccan cities we planned to visit. Yasin did everything he could to make our visit interesting, comfortable, and safe. He patiently answered our many questions about the culture and lifestyle of Moroccans, giving us a much more personal, firsthand experience of this fascinating country. We spent 2 1/2 days with Yasin and he was a highlight of our trip. As we walked through the streets of the medina, Yasin was warmly greeted by the people in his community and is a kind and fun individual. I highly recommend that you reserve time with Yasin as a priority for your trip!

5.00Yasin was a fantastic tour guide. He is very knowledgeable. He grew up in Fes and lives there with his family. I was particularly glad that he was fine with tailoring the tour to what we wanted to see and do. He was extremely attentive - even checking up on us when we weren’t with him, in Fes and in other cities. Very highly recommended to take a tour with him!

5.00On this tour, we were guided through the maze of the Fez medina by our very knowledgeable guide, Yassin Moyraki. Yassin began the tour by explaining the founding of the medina and its history. Then, as we wound our way through the narrow passageways of the medina, he pointed out the holy places, schools, and other important sites that make this medina a place of pilgrimage. He also took us to see the craft guilds where we could purchase Moroccan crafts if we so chose, and he also assisted us in taking good pictures. Overall, it was a thorough and interesting tour.
