【Discover Another Side of Hiroshima!】
This private tour is perfect for experiencing the daily life of Hiroshima. We’ll skip crowded spots to explore quiet backstreets and historic pathways of the old samurai era. We’ll visit the Memorial Cathedral for World Peace, a hidden gem, and stop by long-standing local shops to glimpse authentic Japanese culture.
Smart Itinerary Tip: The Peace Museum is often extremely crowded in the morning. By exploring Hiroshima’s hidden backstreets with me first, you can visit the Peace Park and Museum later in the afternoon when it’s much quieter. A great way to make the most of your day in Hiroshima.

I came here as a solo traveler, and Sachi and Masaru gave me a fantastic tour around the city center. They were both friendly and welcoming and were very knowledgeable about the area. Definitely worth your time if you’re in Hiroshima

Sachi was a great guide and companion around Hiroshima’s city center. Lots of historical context to what we saw - it gave me a good feel for what it may feel like to live in Hiroshima. Was very nice to visit shops and place that locals visit - not just the “must see” places that cater to tourists. Highly recommend!

A great tour, very informative and Sachi was flexible to our requests. It was lovely to see some of the different parts of Hiroshima and we even experienced an impromtu tea ceremony - I would thoroughly recommend both the local life and the tea ceremony tours

You will see sites in Hiroshima that are not in your tour book. The guide will take you into stores and show you religious sites in a neighborhood free of tourists. The guy brought along a colleague who was a former chemistry teacher, and offered some cogent explanations as well.

It is my first trip to Japan, I want a different tourist experience. Sachi provided cultural information regarding the area we walked, also she showed me illustrations to support her explanations, we visited world Peace Memorial Cathedral (no photos allowed) and we visited two local shops and I was lucky to try a traditional sweet of a local shop with 70 years experience making these sweets! She also answered extra questions and gave me some advices. If you would like to learn about the local life I recomend you to book this tour.

I only had a few days in Hiroshima and this tour was an excellent way to see some of the less famous sights, and see parts of the city I would have missed otherwise. I particularly liked the cathedral, but also visiting the hanko and tea shop and learning more about them. Satchio was a great guide who gave lots of information.

Sachi gave me a wonderful gift today. Most of the places Sachi showed me today are places where local Japanese people visit and live every day. Some of the places are unique to Hiroshima. A small shrine, ordinary lunch spots, a church that praying for peace, etc. Seeing these everyday scenes made me love Japan even more. I highly recommend this city walking trip to foreigners who want to know more about Japan. Thank you, Sachi.

I enjoyed a wonderful walking tour with Sachi and her colleague. They showed me historical parts of the city I would've never found, including the Ebisu Shrine and Memorial Cathedral for World Peace. We also visited the famous Okonomimura food stalls, a tea shop, and stamp maker. Along the way, they shared historical insights and were a delight to meet. Anyone looking for a quiet walk to significant points of interest off the beaten path will enjoy this 2 hour walking tour.
