Valahnukamol
The picturesque cliff stretches for several dozen meters. It measures just over 10 m in height, and at its foot there is a beach filled with rounded stones and boulders. The water here is usually rough and breaks against the rocks sticking out of the sea.
Brimketill
Carved by the pounding of waves against soft lava rock, Brimketill is a large, natural pool that sits at the bottom of a cliff at the ocean’s edge. In summer, it is a place of beauty and serenity; in winter, it becomes a place of dramatic wonder.

5.00My wife and I booked a one day photography tour of the Snaefellsnes Peninsula with Luke in late February. The weather wasn't the friendliest and we wanted the security of a guide who not only knew the area well but was equipped for the conditions. From the outset Luke was responsive to our communications leading up to our booking and was able to give us several options to suit our holiday itinerary and requirements. Luke was also very accommodating and changed the date of our tour at the last minute to suit the weather conditions. The day was very well structured and we visited all the locations we wanted plus other lesser known spots, arriving at times best suited to the lighting conditions . Luke is very knowledgeable and this made the day even more enjoyable and he also gave us great advice and recommendations for the rest of our time in Iceland. We would definitely book with Luke again and highly recommend his services.

5.00Had an absolutely sensational day organised by Luke and the Secret Spots team. Travelling with my adult son and his girlfriend - all 3 of us had an equally fantastic time. At Luke's advice we spent the day exploring the Reykjanes Peninsula and we were not disappointed. To be able to soak in the scenery and the experience without taking our own photo's was very liberating ..... and we still got to have the moments captured and have some magical photo's of memories in the making. Highly recommend Luke and the Secret Spots team.

5.00We shared a one day layover in Luke’s capable hands Aug 29, 2025. He was highly recommended by friends and did not disappoint. We wanted to be off the tourist path and were generously rewarded with spectacular scenery. We walked the path of a lava flow and along the beautiful cliffs. 5.00Our afternoon with Luke was a family trip, with a surprise proposal at the end. Luke was incredible to work with. We communicated early before the trip on setting up the proposal. He was knowledgeable about the area and really wanted to show us a great time. Our trip to Iceland would not have been the same, we got to see so much in such a short amount of time. Luke’s photography skills are also wonderful. We got got so many great photos. The composition and editing were great. I can’t say enough great things about our excursion with Luke. Definitely a must-see, we can’t wait to come back to spend time with Luke. He’s such a friendly guy and I wish we had had more time together.

5.00Just finished a week tour of Iceland with Luke. What an amazing and exciting country. We saw beautiful coastline cliffs and the waterfalls were everywhere. He took us to cozy little cafes for lunch with interesting businesses attached. He found us beautiful black sand beaches to walk on and amazing glaciers to view with icebergs floating past. 5.00I embarked on a private tour with Luke of "Secretspotsiceland". As an avid chess player I asked to find Bobby Fischer's grave site and museum. We found both in and outside of Selfoss. I also wanted to try my drone out. Luke then planned visits to Sigöldugljúfur, Sigöldufoss, Háifoss and the The Commonwealth farm. These were magical places, very little traffic and some only accessible using his Heavy Duty Nissan 4x4 on F-roads. Talk about adventure! Luke expertise in drones showed me some cool tactical moves sweeping in and out of Sigöldugljúfur canyon like a tie fighter crossing by the Lekafossar series of waterfalls. Again some more drone-time at Háifoss. A brief stop for lunch at a great little road-side diner we headed up to the outskirts of the Highlands, but not before stopping in at the "Valley of Tears", Sigöldufoss. The Highlands were mystical to say the least and the trip was fulfilling. The weather was moody as well with fog and mist, but wait 15 minutes or so, the sun burst out long enough to illuminate the falls for some sweet shots. Luke was a personable, knowledgeable and great guide who was more than eager to help make the trip memorable. Thanks Luke!

5.00Touring with Luke was one of the best decisions we made when we planned our Iceland trip. Although we only did two days with him, he took us to spectacular places we would have never found on our own. As you might expect, we got some amazing photos, but also got to see such varied areas. One day we went to a few of the busier tourist destinations as I wanted to make sure we didn’t miss those items, but being with him meant he helped us avoid the crowds as much as possible. He is so easy to talk to and such an interesting person. I would highly recommend booking with him. And although we only did a few days, I would not hesitate to use him for a much longer tour. I have already referred several people to his website for their Iceland trip planning. Thank you Luke for a great time in Iceland!
