For this customizable, private tour, your guide will pick you up and drop you off at the Izmir Port / Airport / hotel, and drive you to Ephesus by air-conditioned minivan. You may visit all the historical sites of the area, including the ancient city of Ephesus, Terrace Houses, Artemission Temple, Basilica of St. John, Selcuk Museum, Sirince Village, Isa bey Mosque, and Seven Sleepers. Or tell your guide exactly where you would like to go; personalized service is available for up to 8 hours.

Izmir

Your guide will meet with you at your hotel lobby in Izmir city center or at Izmir port or Izmir Airport with your name sign. You will drive to Ephesus region around 1 hour.

Ephesus Ancient City

Drive to the ancient city of Ephesus, where you'll explore the area's landmarks, attractions, and historical sites. Your guide can suggest an itinerary or you can create your own. You may visit sites such as the Sevel Sleepers, Isa bey Mosque, Sirince Village, the Selcuk Museum, the Basilica of St. John, Artemission Temple, and the Terrace Houses. Entrance fees are at your own expense. Midday, choose to stop for lunch at your own expense, your guide will be happy to suggest a place. Please be prepared for a moderate amount of walking and note that modest dress is required to enter some places of worship.

Absolutely perfect day! Ali was amazing, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable! He adjusted the schedule to avoid the peak crowd times and we always felt safe. I can’t recommend this tour and Ali, as the guide, enough!

Ozzy, our local tour guide was informative and entertaining as he introduced our group to wonderful historical Turkish sites. Super nice lunch and tour of authentic Turkish carpet weaving operation. Transportation provided in very clean and comfortable tour van. Highly recommend!

Our guide, Ekim, completely made this tour. Ephesus is definitely a special place but can also be long, very busy, and overwhelming. Ekim had the perfect balance of fun, history and just a wonderful person, with so much knowledge and maturity. We've been on many tours around the world and this was one of the best. If you book this, make sure you request Ekim!

Zelda was amazing! Very knowledgeable and kind. With it so busy she was able to adapt and navigate our tour group around the long lines. We didn’t have to wait for more than a couple minutes in any line! Our driver was great too with a very nice van. Fantastic job!!

Selda was an excellent tour guide. She kept us on track and pivoted when lines were too long during a VERY hot day. She anticipated our needs so well. We had the best day exploring ruins, learning all about rugs & ceramics, enjoying lunch, & the Church of Virgin Mary. Lastly, bringing us back to our cruise port on time. Thank you - 5 stars for Selda!

From meeting Tayfun from the port all the way to returning - he was so much good energy - even in one boiling heat He was very passionate about the tour and knew the history Also very accommodative and flexible to our needs - we decided to do a shorter tour due to the heat but he made sure we also saw some other sites out from our car He also offered to negotiate on our behalf o shops Great trip Some tips; bring an umbrella to keep yourself out the heat

The tour of Ephesus was amazing. Our guide Hazel was very friendly and knowledgeable and allowed us to have an excellent experience. Our tour included lunch, which was traditional and delicious. Even our picky teenage son enjoyed it. The van was very comfortable and driver was safe. I highly recommend this tour!
