What To Expect

Old Quarter

On a 3 hours walking tour, you’ll explore Hanoi Old Quarter in a safe and fun way as you step into a world full of street food vendors. We offer an opportunity to try out many different dishes at local food stand as well as local family restaurants, we also try some finger food that all the kids (include Vietnamese kids) always love, and for the last stop, the tour finishes with a big cup of coconut chocolate ice-cream A rotating menu from day-to-day to represent the variety of delicious options, but tastings might include, but are subject to change: rice noodle with chicken, rice noodle with grilled pork, snail, or dry noodle, sticky rice, along with various kinds of donut, steamed pancake or Vietnamese sandwiches.

I did this with my 12-year-old and 10-year-old and they really enjoyed it and it was a great experience for getting them used to 10 day trip in Vietnam. My youngest very much enjoyed our last stop which was vermicelli with barbecue pork! Delicious!

Cherry’s tour was the highlight of Hanoi, introducing us to amazing food and culture, helping us through the busy streets, and - most of all- charming our kids, 4 and 6 yo girls - who totally fell in love with her! They have been asking about Cherry ever since the tour ended. She made sure we were comfortable with the food, helped us find restrooms and adapted t everything to meet our preferences. Couldn’t recommend this more for families!

We did this on our first full day in Vietnam. Cherry our guide was so kind and made the kids feel so comfortable. We all ate some amazing food and had a great time! A must do we your next in Hanoi!

We had a fantastic time with Sandy our guide, sampling some highlights of Hà Nội’s cuisine including bun cha, traditional crispy rice paper rolls, a variety of Vietnamese coffees, desserts and more! Sandy was an absolute legend with the kids, who were both a bit tired from travelling and not their best. Highly recommend this tour if you have a few spare hours to explore Hà Nội’s old quarter and the food on offer. Thank you again Sandy!

Our walking food tour with Cherry was amazing! She was so impressive especially with our 7 year old and had no difficulty making sure we were ok the entire time. She explained things well and was thoughtful. We loved this part of our trip in Hanoi.

We absolutely loved our food tour with Cherry. What really made this special was her attention and care to us and our young son. She became his big sister on our tour and was so knowledgeable about Vietnam and its amazing cuisine. We highly recommend this tour and Cherry in particular

Jenny was our food tour guide and she took us to some amazing local cafes/restaurants to try their food. All of the food was delicious. We really enjoyed walking around the old quarter too. This is the BEST way to try all the local food.
