This full day tour is the tour for wine lovers and enthusiasts. We will take you to one of the most famous wine regions in Spain, La Rioja, where we will visit 3 wineries where we will learn the secrets of wine, from harvest to aging and of course we will taste the best wines from each winery. . Later we will go to a local restaurant to taste the typical Rioja menu (Rioja style potatoes, lamb chops and good wine) The tour also includes a visit to the beautiful medieval town of Laguardia.

Amazing day wine tasting with Zach!

5.00Zach picked us up at our hotel on time and took us to three small production wineries in the Rioja region. We toured the first which had a history going back to the 1400’s. The second and third were wine tasting only. All three had traditional Basque food pairing and all the wines were exceptional ( I’m a red fan and still enjoyed the whites). We then went to the walled city of LaGuardia for a walk and to taste tapas. Zach was great about providing the history of the region, the food and had a tremendous knowledge of the wine region. I hope to make it back to your with him again all around Bilbao, San Sebastián and Rioja. Thank you Zach for an amazing experience!

5.00Diego picked us up from our hotel bright and early, treating us to a fantastic day touring wineries in the Basque region and a traditional lamb lunch at A Lai Bar. Showing us different landmarks from a local point of view along the way, it was like we were being taken around by a good friend with great conversation instead of being on a formal, regimented tour. Diego is well travelled having lived all over the world, he has excellent communication skills, and his knowledge of the Basque region was outstanding. He is clearly very passionate about his community’s culture, history and connecting with his guests. Always happy to accommodate any requests we had, we absolutely loved our full day tour and highly recommend Diego from Feel Basque Country! 5.00This is an excellent way to spend the day when visiting Northern Spain. We visited three amazing wineries and had a delicious lunch. Every wine was better than the previous one. All staff members were knowledgeable and amazing hosts. Our tour guide, Diego, made the tour even better with his own stories, recommendations, and vast knowledge of the region’s history. Overall, we highly recommend going on any tour with Feel Basque Country and had an excellent time and experience on the Rioja wine tour.

5.00Feel Basque Country owner Diego is an incredible host. Starting from his well spoken english, high end vehicle for transportation, incredible worldly knowledge that he generously shares, great energy down to his kindness and understanding of what makes a great tour. My husband and I used Feel Basque Country for both a 3 hour e-bike cycling tour (so much fun) and a full day trip to Rioja wine country. Both excursions were top notch. We would not hesitate for one minute to recommend Feel Basque Country. Thank you Diego for a wonderful experience in San Sebastián.

5.00Spectacular tour and Diego is an excellent guide. Rioja wine tour with typical regional food is fantastic. Visited from boutique winery to medium sized and they were all outstanding. Not to much the level of attention from Diego and the staff and the wineries.

5.00We had a fantastic day out with Diego, taking us to 3 smaller, family-run businesses. Each one was insightful with many different wine tastings and snacks, with both the guide and Diego filling us with knowledge! We also stopped at some viewpoints to take pictures of the gorgeous scenery (as well as some of the more modern wine factories!) , as well as a quick walk through the beautiful town of Laguardia. All topped off with an amazing, traditional lunch in Haro, which was full of locals on Farmers Day. The drive to/from San Sabastian took about 90 mins and didn't feel too long. Highly recommended
