Excellent guide with extensive knowledge and best local knowledge. Nick was really incredibly good and explained a lot. The difference between simply explaining and understanding the connections of the Circle of Life we were able to detect flawlessly. If you not only want to see but also want to understand, you absolutely have to book this tour.

Highly underrate. Our Guide Nick showed us amazing hidden treasures of and around the desert. Nick was the best guide you could imagine. He knew the answer to every question we had about the desert, animals, other areas in Namibia and also about culture or the system. We had a lot fun and had an amazing time.

We had the Living Desert tour with Nick and it was really fantastic. We were lucky enough to be just two, which we really appreciate. You drive to three places and then you go there in search of some animals. Nick also explains the flora and fauna, which is very interesting. Besides, he has a great sense of humor and we really laughed a lot. The tour is not about seeing as many animals as possible in a short time, but about the experience of searching. Nick shows you the different tracks to look out for and in the end you feel like you were part of the success yourself. Absolute heart recommendation!!!

Our travel agency had recommended this about 3-4 hour tour and we were not disappointed. We went on the tour with two guides into the desert just outside Swakopmund and were thrilled with what joy and with how much knowledge and enthusiasm the two and plants and animals showed and explained the desert! With Jürgen's explanations, the various small animals became a huge experience!

In the morning Amin of the property picked up. From Chris (Spingbok underpants with fur inside). He knows the Namib, explains names, the nature conservation background and the animals, which are as exciting as Lion Nd's elephants in the end. Gecko, peringuey otter, chamealeon, creep. Plus the desert itself with its incredible colors and shapes, opal sand, iron sand, water. It is one of Namibia's must-see highlights

Nick was spontaneously ready to go on tour with us because the other organizer mixed up the dates. For this he and our accommodation Fritz Manor again 1000 thanks. The tour was great. Nick gave us very sympathetic wonderful and very interesting insights into the wildlife and plant life in the desert and the conditions there. His way of tracking even the smallest animals for us was great! Thanks for that and greeting from Hanover (HSV 96) from Gerold and Michaela

An incredible 3 hours searching for the ‘Little 5’. Nick was an incredible knowledgeable guide and not only did we learn about the desert ecosystem but he was a wealth of information about Namibia in general. Would highly recommend this tour. Thank you Nick!!!

This was a very relaxing safari experience. We only saw a few species - and they were understandably small. But it was a real privilege and experience to spend a few hours in the desert with someone knowledgeable and passionate - and a real eye opener.
