What To Expect
Enjoy a 2 hour lunch cruise on the mighty Zambezi River. As you cruise on the upper Zambezi River, you will also see the mist rising up from the magical Victoria Falls. The Zambezi River is the fourth-longest river in Africa, the longest east-flowing river in Africa and the largest flowing into the Indian Ocean from Africa. The 2,574-kilometre-long river (1,599 mi) arises in Zambia and flows through eastern Angola, along the north-eastern border of Namibia and the northern border of Botswana, then along the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe to Mozambique, where it crosses the country to empty into the Indian Ocean. A 3 course lunch will be served during the cruise including beverages. You will return back to the Pure Africa Waterfront after the cruise where you will meet your driver for the transfer back to your hotel.

5.00⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An unforgettable river cruise with Pur Africa! We did a river boat trip in Zimbabwe with Pur Africa, including lunch on board — and it was absolutely fantastic. The food was delicious, and the scenery was stunning: truly majestic views and a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere. We were lucky enough to see hippos, crocodiles, and plenty of beautiful birds, all in their natural habitat — it felt unreal. A huge thank you to the amazing crew who made the experience even more special: • Yolanda, our captain, was exceptional — a fantastic guide and an excellent captain. She knows the wildlife incredibly well and knew exactly where to go so we could spot the best animals, from birds to crocodiles and hippos. • Precious, the chef, served a wonderful lunch. • Tinachet, our waiter, was attentive, kind, and professional. Everything was smooth, friendly, and perfectly organised from start to finish. I 100% recommend this experience — if you’re in the area, don’t miss it. Five stars without hesitation!

5.00Absolutely lovely way to spend a couple of hours on board Kalunda. Captain Daniel, Hostess Yolanda and Chef Kainos gave us a fabulous lunch ( delicious - excellent, actually) while peacefully navigating along the Upper Zambezi. Helped out by the crew we saw all sorts of animals, lots of photos, and learned a bit about the river. This is a very romantic trip for 2 but they can cater for up to 6. Reasonable cost, too. Very highly recommended.

5.00What an elegant way to end our trip through the Botswana bush. Our pontoon boat was lovely, as were our Captain, server, and chef. It was just two girlfriends and everything was so elegant and lovely cruising the river for two hours having lunch. Highly recommended!
