Oak Creek Canyon

Oak Creek Canyon is a gorge carved into the edge of the Mogollon Rim of the Colorado Plateau along the Oak Creek Fault. Tectonic forces shifting the land to either side of the fault and subsequent erosion by Oak Creek have created a spectacular canyon that is home to "Slide Rock" and beauty beyond compare.

5.00Ralph was the BEST tour guide possible!!!! He was waiting at our hotel when we arrived. He shared so much information about the area during the tour. He brought the 14-seater van and the 6 of us in the group each had a window seat, which was great for taking in all the scenery of the Sedona area!!
