5.00Amazing experience, we did have to pay for our ticket into the Temple of Poseidon site so it was 310€ for the two of us total (including the price of the tickets into the site) so thats ok, only an extra 20€ from the trip price. It was about a 4-5 hour trip, the drive was beautiful and our guide kept us informed and interested the whole time there and back! It wasn’t crowded, we went around 2:00pm and got back around 6:30pm, leaving right when the big crowds arrived! There is lots of information at hand on the plaques around the site so we got a little extra info even after our guide explained the history on the way up to the entrance! Its an excursion i would absolutely recommend! Would definitely book with Perclites again! Wish we had done it sooner in our trip!

5.00This was our first free day in Athens prior to embarking on a 10 day cruise and it was absolutely splendid… Our driver and guide Periklis met us promptly at our hotel for pick up at 9:30 AM and drove us along the Athens coastline en route to the temple of Poseidon… The stops along the way, and the temple Poseidon were indeed interesting, but the best part of our trip was spending time with a wonderful, open and candid Greek, who shared so much about the history of his country, the people of Greece, the political climate/issues and anything we wanted to know about… we laughed, shared stories, stopped at a restaurant for the best calamari I've ever eaten in my life, and never felt rushed or pressured the entire day… we experienced more than a site seeing tour or journey to Poseidon… Today we made a new friend… Someone I would not hesitate to look up and visit with again on our next trip to Athens. . . This is what a vacation is all about.

5.00My husband went on this trip and Dimitrios was such an excellent guide. He was knowledgeable and friendly and great for conversation in general. He was happy to tailor the trip to our needs and really helpful. He also gave us some good recommendations for things to do and food to try. The temple, marina, and lake were all great spots and we had an excellent time. I would highly recommend this. Since we were there in October there was almost no one in any of the spots so we were able to get in and out and grab unobstructed pictures.

5.00I did two private tours with Makis — Delphi & Thermopylae and Athens Riviera & Temple of Poseidon — and both were amazing experiences. Makis was very professional, friendly, and shared great historical facts along the way. He also took lovely photos of me at the sites, which made the day even more special. Highly recommend touring with him!
