The driver Jorge was very kind, but he didn’t really speak English. This was OK because I speak enough Spanish, but I thought we paid for a proper guide, and that’s not what we got. He knew the main stops, but we didn’t really get that much information about the locations that we travel to.

Tour guide can’t speak proper English. He didn’t explain much about Montevideo, nor the history etc. Just like a hop on hop off bus… only bring us to places for photos, kind of meaningless. Tour guide can’t stop talking (loudly)to driver, in Spanish which we couldn’t understand. He will also talks to sellers from street shops, on the phone etc. Just not (6 of) us. Very very bad experience. First time having such tour. Not sure why other people gave such a good review. Unless it’s different tour guide and different driver.

We had a great private tour of Montevideo! Our driver took us all over the city and gave us a lot of history. He was very knowledgeable, as well as friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our day and highly recommend this tour!

Excellent tour, we met the most important of the city in a private car for us with air conditioning and internet service, the boy with a lot of knowledge and super attentive and helpful, Nicolas is called, by the way I arrived half an hour earlier

Juan gave us a good understanding of the history of Montevideo and stopped at several points important to understand the city and its current life. Visit to the market was very nice. Highly recommend this tour.

This was an excellent private tour of Montevideo for our family of four. The tour lasted about 4 hours and was a combination of an audio guide and then our tour guide filled in extra details as we drove around the city. Initially we were assigned a non English speaking tour guide but they were able to change this for us. The audio guide provided some nice historical background about Uruguay and the sites that we were seeing. We had adequate time at each of the stops to explore the area and take pictures. At the end I felt that we covered all of the major areas of the city and that the tour was appropriately priced. The car was also comfortable.
