On our Secret Food Tour: Montmartre, you will discover the Guinguette spirit of Montmartre that has been depicted by many painters, that is, enjoying fine cheese with cold cuts all of them paired with wine in a picnic style meal.
Our tour is unique, designed make your experience authentic. Parisians go from shop to shop, gathering the best ingredients for their meals from a variety of specialty stores. We do the same, giving you samples of food along the way. Your local guide will share the history behind the area, local shops, and your food selections; as they purchase cheeses, wines, cured meats, and pastries. We'll end at a secret location to enjoy our meal like a local.
As a private tour, everything works around you! Our start times are much more easy going, dates can open up. It's a much more intimate and cozy experience. No need to shout over other tourists, you will have every question answered, and leave feeling like a native yourself!

Marcel was fantastic!!! This was so much more than simply tasting a few local foods: Marcel gave us a history of Ile Saint-Louis (my daughter and I were staying there), histories of the stores we visited, history of Montmartre, histories of the foods... And the foods were phenomenal! SO delicious!!! I absolutely recommend Marcel and the Montmartre tour; I would do it again in a heartbeat!

Gaspard was a wonderful guide with a lot of knowledge on the city and part we were in. Also very knowledgeable on all of the food spots we stopped at. The food was wonderful and he was a wonderful host! The end of the tour was wonderful with different meats, cheeses, breads, and pastries with a description of where each came from and what they were paired with tasty wine. He was amazing and I would recommend to everyone!

This was a great tour with all the perfect flavours of Paris. We were taken to several small local food vendors in Montmartre and had the opportunity to learn about local history and landmarks. Drink food and wine and taste the delicacies of the region.

I have been on food tours throughout the world and this was one of the best! Gaspard was personable, knowledgeable and all of his recommendations were spot on! Every stop felt thoughtfully curated and was delicious. The fresh crepes were amazing and we could choose whichever flavor we wanted. The basic one with sugar and lemon was awesome, as was the biscoff. The rich cheeses, flavorful sausages and decadent chocolates allowed us to sample local flavors and varieties. The tour was the perfect mix of culture, conversation and incredible food. Highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to experience the local flavors!

Emmannuel was awesome! He was so full of knowledge of history, culture, local fare, and humor. I loved this tour! We started off walking around the community, trying some delicious local treats. Also, learning about the area. We collected food along the way to eat later together as a group. The end of the tour was a wonderful finale with a never ending meal full of french cheeses, meat, wine, pastries, pate, knowledge, and fun! We were in a quaint, private building. Emmannuel had pictures and maps to help us understand where everything came from, as we ate and drank it. Definitely come hungry because you will leave completely full, if not more! A very "full" 4 hours. It will not disappoint!
